A mobile version of the tumblr which can be accessed like example.tumblr.com/m I suppose it would be focusing on the touch screen phones rather than the phones that cant handle much data.

I don't know if I be too happy about a third party supplying the links. Does anyone remember the day that tinyurl went down which made any tweeted links useless? However I would be in favour of shorter urls and tracking.
