Apologies if I double posted - for some reason logging into openid doesn't return me to this form.

Basically I'd love if I could ask the pingdotfm jabber bot for syntax help. Something like #help would be great if it replied with the different syntax available for posting to individual services, as well as any other things that are possible with the bot/posting syntax.

It's too bad really. I'd love to be able to have less verbosity in the IM's I get. Ideally it would be nice to be able to give commands to the bot too (like 'subscribe [rss_feed_here]' and 'unsubscribe' etc.

Anyways, keep up the good work. Can't complain too loudly since it's free, but I eagerly await a day when this might be a reality. ;)

Hi!

I was hoping I could customize the output that notify.me sends to my jabber client.

Ideally I'd like at a minimum a 'compact' mode - one line per update.

The reason is that I use bitlbee - an IRC client that acts as a jabber/msn gateway, and multiple lines really marr the readability.

Any chance this is already available and I'm simply not aware?

Well, ignoring ping.fm for a second, there's a Facebook application I use that'll take your twitter update and put it on your facebook page. It's just called 'twitter' in Facebook. Give'r a shot - it doesn't do the reverse, but it sounds like you don't care about that!
