Remember that time a few years ago when you had a problem with your computer and I came over to take care of it, and I spent six hours trying to fix it and wound up reformatting the hard drive and reinstalling Windows, and then after that you couldn't hear any sound from the computer any more? And then Dad got mad and told me never to "fix" the computer again, and then you told him to cool it, that I'd only been trying to help, and then the two of you got into a big fight and didn't talk to each other for the next three days? Man, those were the days, huh!

Well, next time, just go to getsatisfaction.com. I promise you things will work out much, much better.

Hola, Marcos, el Web Service Infuence filtra el contenido que te llega a vos y determina tu nube de intereses ("interests cloud"). Si vos ponés un servicio alto y otros bajos, significa que ese servicio tiene un mayor peso que los otros (pero no necesariamente los anula).

En definitiva, si sentís que, por ejemplo, tu blog es el "web service" más representativo de tus intereses, asignale una mayor prioridad por sobre los demás.

Lo que vos compartís con otros usuarios no tiene relación con tu ecualizador.

¡Tus preguntas no son bobas! Son útiles, nos ayudan a comprender en dónde acertamos y en donde fallamos, así que muchas gracias por el feedback.

Regarding your question, a widget is an application designed to display information, for example, news, photos or videos, in the context of a website or a virtual environment. You can download widgets and add them to your desktop or you can also include them in your website; there are many forms, shapes and uses for widgets.

In this case, our widget is designed to display the information generated through Popego (your tag cloud, your videos and photos, etc.). You can add this widget to your Blog account, or to your website. It's a tool designed for your comfort.

I apologize if we haven't been clear on this subject. From your post I understand that there are other fuzzy issues on our website, would you mind telling me which ones? I will gladly answer all your questions.

Vamos a seguir evaluando el problema y el lunes trataré de tenerte alguna solución, porque con otras cuentas de características aparentemente iguales a la tuya el servicio sí funciona. Y vos nos decís que con FF también funciona, entonces debe haber algo más complicado acá.

Hola, Marcos, no te disculpes porque no es ningún problema. Mi trabajo es responderte y disfruto haciéndolo.

En relación a Flickr, cuando yo intento visualizar tu perfil me da este error "dmostenes doesn't have anything available to you.". Mirá mi perfil en cambio: http://www.flickr.com/tapeteviejo.

Deberías ingresar a tu cuenta de flickr y modificar las opciones de privacidad para que cualquiera pueda ver tus fotos (podés bloquear tu información personal, mail, nombre, etc. si querés). De esta manera Popego lo va a aceptar.

Entiendo que no estamos siendo claros en este aspecto y tenemos que mejorarlo, porque no has sido la única persona con este problema.

Por favor manteneme al tanto.

Marcos, creo que tengo una idea de qué es lo que pasa. Tu cuenta de Flickr no es pública, y para que Popego la pueda ver tiene que serlo. Por eso es que no pedimos ningún password, sólo levantamos el contenido de acceso público en sitios como Flickr.

Avisame si esto te sirvió, y si no buscamos otra manera.

We are aware of the importance of this issue and it will be solved in our next release, but unfortunately I can't give you a solution right now apart from those already stated (removing your web services and personal info).

We appreciate the polite manners in which you have all expressed your concerns. I can't fully express how sorry we are for the inconvenience we are causing you.

It's our goal to simplify the web for you, not to make it harder. So we learn the lesson: deleting accounts is a top priority.

Hola, dziga vertov, ante todo te pido disculpas. Estamos trabajando para corregir de fondo estos problemas, pero te puedo dar algunas soluciones inmediatas.

Para dejar de recibir el newsletter tenés un unsubscribe incluido en el mail, que sí funciona (a diferencia del de los Top Picks que daba error). El link está abajo de todo, dice "Unsubscribe".

Para dejar de recibir nuestros Top Picks, podés desmarcar la casilla "Send me a weekly mail..." desde la sección "Preferences" --> "Profile Settings" de tu cuenta de Popego.

Siguiendo estos dos pasos no vas a recibir más mails de Popego. Espero que te sea útil y, de lo contrario, estoy acá para responder a tus dudas.

Hola, nkm, te pido disculpas por no haber respondido a tus e-mails y apreciamos tu paciencia.

En este momento, los usuarios no cuentan con una opción para borrar la cuenta. Estamos trabajando en eso y sabemos que es importante.

A modo de solución temporaria, te ofrezco que desvincules tus Web Services desde la sección "Edit Interests" de tu Popego. De esta manera tu información personal no estará publicada en tu perfil.

Y apenas implementemos la opción, nos aseguraremos de avisarte para que puedas tomar la decisión de borrarla, si todavía te interesa.

Por cierto, sugerile que pruebe la opción "Forgot your password", quizás ya se había registrado hace mucho tiempo y no se acuerda, a mi me ha pasado!

Hola, Carla, perdón por la demora!! No es necesario que agregues los cinco servicios si no los tenés. Los contenidos que ves de otros usuarios (excepto la foto de perfil) se generan automáticamente desde tus "web services". Entonces, si agregaste tu cuenta de Picasa, por ejemplo, tus fotos se extraen automáticamente, y lo mismo ocurre con el contenido de tus blogs.
