A comment on the question "Sending "automated queries" to Google???" in Feedly:
Hm indeed. So this might have been a case where an older session cookie was invalid. Will continue to investigate so that we better understand the root cause. – edwk, on December 15, 2009 19:10
edwk replied on December 15, 2009 17:59 to the question "How does feedly decide which language to translate to?" in Feedly:
Hi Caine72. We tried to keep things simple in the first iteration and translate to the language of the browser the user is using. I understand how some power users like you might want to customize this. Will talk to the team about adding a preference knob to control the language the snippet should be translated into. Will try to see if we can include that for the 3.0 version. Thanks for the feedback!

hmm. It is the first time I am seeing this error. This is probably a bug in feedly. If feedly were to get stuck in an loop while initiating a request to Google Reader, then that loop could trigger the Google Denial of Service detector and generate this error. Do you remember what you were doing before/when this error occured? It would help us try to understand what could be causing the error loop. Very sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi hdtkinetix. Nice to meet you. The feedly aggregation feature is called feedly mix. You can see it in action on http://www.mikiane.com We will talk more about it in January. May I ask what is driving your interest?

It is a little complicated. See overview in Q03 in http://blog.feedly.com/2009/05/03/8-w...

A comment on the question "Posting to friendfeed" in Feedly:
Eyebee. We are redesigning the integration between feedly and friendfeed to be able to support Firefox, Chrome and Safari. We need 4 weeks to change some of the plumbing. The feature should be back in the feedly 3.0 release early next year. Very sorry for the inconvenience. – edwk, on December 14, 2009 16:37

edwk replied on December 14, 2009 06:31 to the problem "End of lines cut off in inlined mode" in Feedly:
Thanks. Will try to replicate this on Tuesday. I think that it is probably some different image caching behavior in Firefox and Chrome. You are not seeing the bug when you load a second time because the image is already loaded in the cache. Should not be too hard to fix one we have a reproducible test case so your input is super valuable. We will try to have a fix this week. Will let you know.
A comment on the question "Can we respond to google reader conversations in Feedly?" in Feedly:
This is still something we are trying to learn about. I think that the reason you sometimes can respond is that you can only respond if the conversation is initiated by someone who follows you. – edwk, on December 14, 2009 04:00
A comment on the praise "Chrome installation problem" in Feedly:
Sarah. Sorry about the frustration.
Do you happen to be a Mac user? Google has disabled all extensions in the Mac Chrome version. They mentioned that the will be re-enabling them in the next 5-10 days.
If you are a windows and linux user, then this must be a new bug. Let us know and we will try to track it down. – edwk, on December 13, 2009 01:46
