Rebtel slashes its rates to Mexico by 70%

Thanks to everyone that participated in our Mexico Survey.

Many of you asked us to lower the rate, and we listened.

As a result, calls to fixed lines are lowered to 1.5¢ and the mobile rate is down at 8.9¢. That's 50% and 70% off respectively!

That's probably the world's lowest rate to Mexico.

The Rebtel numbers you are assigned are depending on the country your original phone number belongs to, in this case USA.

We would not recommend that you use your USA number while in Europe, since your operator will most likely charge you for roaming. Rebtel doesn't handle roaming costs.

If you are in Italy, the most cost effective solution is that you get an Italian SIM card so that you are assigned local Italian numbers.

Yes, add your Spanish landline number when you get to Spain and set it as your preferred number. Your contacts will then be assigned a local Spanish number.

To add the Spanish landline, log in to your account, click on "Settings", then on "Manage phones" and follow the instructions.

Add his number on your contact list and you will be given a local number in Denmark to call him, while he will receive a local number in Istanbul. He will pay whatever he usually pays for calling landlines in Istanbul, while the international connection is free if you make a Smart Call. He doesn't need to sign up.
