Jessie- That's right, Fred got me to turn off all network connectivity, so that DL did not get stuck looking for my friends MobileMe library upon startup.

That worked like a charm. Can't believe I did not try that before. Dropped all net connections, removed my buddy, then readded him back in but turned off update of his library from his .mac account. Voila!

Jessie- Tried that, still the same error, and the library is not corrupted according to the de-corrupter. I have some suggestions though:

- Could you provide us with a similar type of tool to or option to bypass updates of friend libraries, or to "null" them out alltogether? Or maybe give us a beta version that logs all calls that are done when the mobileme update thing is happening so that I can report that back?

The 2.3 release does not solve the problem of DL hanging while trying to download a friends mac.com content. I reported the error a month ago, and the case does not have any updates on status (case 166636). It is hard rooting for a product you cannot even get to start! Can you please at least tell me if this issue is being looked into?

Sorry to be a party-pooper, but I am still unable to use the released 2.3 version in any way - hangs waiting to update my friends library (Case 166636).

Just to chime in on the released 2.3 version - it still does not solve my problem with immediate application hang/crash upon launch as previously reported (Case 166636).

The latest beta (Beta 4) does not solve my startup problem (hang upon refresh of a friends library), so I am still unable to use DL on Snow Leopard. How can I remove my friends entry without deleting my entire library? PLEASE ADVISE!

Jessie - How am I supposed to remove the friends from the Library in the first place? This happens to me immediately upon load, so I am not able to remove anyone or anything before it hangs...

I am still not able to launch DL2 in Snow Leopard even with this beta. As soon as the window pops up that tells me the library of a friend is beeing updated, it hangs and goes to max CPU utilization. See Case 166636 for detailed log report.

Just for clarification, I think I also got this one when I tried to publish, although I might remember incorrectly.

Upon start, Delicious library prompted me with an errormessage as seen above. It was not possible to click on the submit report button, since the application was in a deadlock. Had to force quit it and start over, which worked fine.

This is the first time I have seen this problem.
