eh asked a question in Comcast on September 28, 2009 15:55:
Comcast website doesn't allow all valid email addresses as usernamesTo log into the Comcast website, you need to create a username which must be a valid email address. Unfortunately, the website doesn't allow certain characters which are valid in email addresses (according to RFC 5322). So I have to enter a valid email address, but I can't enter *my* email address because it has characters that Comcast doesn't like (specifically, the "+" character).
I sent email to Comcast but received a canned response about what a username is (I honestly would have rather gotten no reply than a reply that proves that my email wasn't actually read).
I wasn't really expecting an email customer support rep to fix the website but I would like to hear that this issue has been escalated to the people in charge of creating the website so they can consider fixing it.

You can drag the little gray bar that's just below the comment box to make it grow. – eh, on September 22, 2009 02:35-

I often need to update a comment I made just after adding it. And just now, I added a comment to the wrong story. I'd love to be able to edit/delete these comments. I don't need the ability to edit or delete other peoples' comments, but I'd be fine with that too.
After posting the above, I saw that GetSatisfaction lets me edit or delete a comment until 15 minutes after I posted it. That would be a great model for Tracker.
eh shared an idea in Tom Tom on May 30, 2009 17:28:
Make the TomTom map update software preserve settingsI updated my TomTom's map only to find that all my favorites had been deleted. I checked their support site and they provide a simple set of steps for copying your favorites and settings and then replacing them after the maps have been updated: http://us.support.tomtom.com/cgi-bin/...
Unfortunately, it was too late -- I'd already lost everything. I'd like to suggest that the map installation software take care of this for me so I don't have to remember to do it, and so people in the future don't have to find out the hard way that the map installation software deletes all their data.

Printer-friendly version of the Pod Details web pageHow about a printer-friendly version of the Pod Details web page? The gray on green looks great on my monitor but is unreadable when printed on my laser printer. A printer-specific CSS file would probably do the trick.

eric suesz: I've never done it (I share my account with only my wife), but I would imagine that it would be easy to share with roommates, nearby friends (you can give them movies when you see them), co-workers (you can give them their movies at work), etc.
Personally, I think this kind of thing only helps Netflix, as it gets people interested in Netflix who obviously aren't ready yet to pay for it. Eventually, they'll get their own account and Netflix will make a new customer.
Of course, I have no idea if this is the reason Netflix is getting rid of this feature. I haven't thought of a better reason yet, but I'm not nearly as smart as whoever came up with the idea for Netflix :)

So sad, was a great feature. And it's also sad that the reply-to email address they sent the message from bounces messages back.
My guess is that people were using the multiple queues to share a single Netflix account with friends, roommates, etc., and Netflix wants each of those people to pay for their own account.-
