See http://getsatisfaction.com/wakoopa/to..., because it's a pain to go to back and forth between multiple app pages and your usage page to block software, when there could be nice little buttons next to each app on the usage list, just like the "X" next to messages on your home page, and the "X" next to any review you leave on an app page.

.
Also, look at http://getsatisfaction.com/wakoopa/to...; because when blocked, apps shouldn't still be calculated into one's usage (the entire point of "blocking" them is to not publicly show them, which is nulled by keeping them shown in the usage on your main page and just deleting the text listed on your usage list),
and http://getsatisfaction.com/wakoopa/to..., because it's otherwise very difficult to tell who's who on Wakoopa.

Sorry to bug you guys with a red Problem entry.
(I felt this was something that needed more attention than my general yellow Idea entries, though I *definitely* think you should look at, and consider, the following three:

Ejrech reported a problem in Wakoopa on January 31, 2009 17:56:
Only the first 5 screenshots are shown on app pages.App pages only show the first 5 screenshots in the "Screenshots" area, even though there's enough room obviously created to show exactly 6 in a nice 2x3 configuration.
One would expect to either see the first six and a link (say, clicking on the "Screenshots" header word) to the rest, or a scrollbar for the viewing area. (*hint hint*)

Hmm, when Ikkekietje said "group" and "email" in the same sentence, I thought of something else...
How about groups being able to send global group emails (say, manually sent announcements, automatic group usage goals reached, etc.) to the emails group members specify when they join?
With something small reminding them to submit a group email if they haven't yet, like a bit of text next to the "Announcements" header where the announcements would be listed on the group's page, of course.

A comment on the idea "Preemptively block applications from showing" in Wakoopa:
Ah, I see what you mean now.
Though I must admit I'd really like a full, personal, configurable privacy list, not just going to each app's page and having to click the block button on every single individual page (in the case of your idea, each time keeping the individual app from showing up in your profile before you even use it). It's still the same method as it is now; you have to go to individual app pages to alter privacy settings, over and over and over, which becomes quite tedious.
I'd like to see block and remove buttons next to each app in the personal usage list, myself: http://getsatisfaction.com/wakoopa/to...
More privacy options are needed across the board, really. =] – Ejrech, on January 22, 2009 19:00
A comment on the idea "Preemptively block applications from showing" in Wakoopa:
Hmm, so a configurable privacy list, then.
That's even better.
If it's before the app runs, I'm tempted to call it a blacklist, whether it fully blocks or not; being used to creating preemptive lists for other things (like ad blocking). =P – Ejrech, on January 22, 2009 18:20
Ejrech replied on January 22, 2009 18:16 to the idea ""Your Contact is now on Wakoopa!" notification to people who send Invites." in Wakoopa:
That'd be nice too, though I only got an email for one of the number of people I invited who made an account. =/
So really, more important to me than invite acceptance notification would be the ability to view your contact's emails, if they have the email sharing privacy option enabled; being default enabled (for both you and the other contact) only if you invited them via email, or vice versa.
Ejrech replied on January 22, 2009 03:52 to the question "How long is the average wait for an invite?" in BumpTop:
Man... I signed up at http://honeybrown.ca back in February (the 4th) and still haven't got an invite. In fact, I think it was even longer ago than that (years; probably early 2007 or before, can't remember) that I signed up somewhere else, too.
So I signed up *again*, a few hours ago, at http://bumptop.com/list ... maybe that'll finally get me in. ;_;

Ejrech shared an idea in Wakoopa on January 22, 2009 03:41:
View the Email addresses of your Contacts! For the purpose of identifying who's who; especially since you can't tell when inviting people from your own email, as the system only shows their chosen Wakoopa name.
Probably the easiest way would be twofold:
1) A text link next to "Invite more contacts" on your Contacts tab (say, "View contact emails & privacy options") that shows your contacts in a vertical list view, with a column each for their pictures, names, emails, and a checkable "show my email to this contact" column (with a global "show my email to all contacts" option to make it only one click for people who choose to do that), with, of course, a save button at the bottom of the page.
As far as default privacy's concerned, the system could hide your email address from all contacts except for anyone you invited via email, and the person who originally invited you to Wakoopa. Meaning on the vertical list view, the "show my email to this contact" column would be default unchecked for all new contacts, and checked for people who already know your email, unless you have a global "don't show my email to anyone" privacy option checked.
2) Perhaps a small text of a person's email next to their name when you visit their page, if they're one of the contacts whose email you're currently allowed to see, as this would make it easier to identify that person in daily Wakoopa browsing when you just feel like checking out their page; when you aren't purposely concerned with emails or privacy and looking at the vertical list page.
