I think it would actually be helpful if you COULD tie the expenses TO the project. In my case, almost everything is billed hourly or daily. With every project there are expenses such as music licensing rights that is a fixed unit price versus hourly. At the moment I assign one hour for every music license aquired which is not the best case scenario. The best case for me would be to tie the expense to the project, and even be able to add expenses in the widget by selecting a project, putting in the cost, and adding a description of what the expense is for. This way my employees could use the widget for everything billable / reimbursable.

I just tried your suggestion and am having the same problem. I created a preset with "Clients", "Users" and "Round Up" all checked in the "Include into report". I then navigated to the "Projects" page, then back to the "Reports" page and clicked on the preset. That is when the same result happened with the boxes being unchecked for the three I listed. Everything else seems to stick.

Elastic Pictures replied on October 24, 2009 01:42 to the question "Template projects are showing in the list of projects to time record against" in Paymo:
It sounds like you might be working on this, but I think that the template usage is very under utilized. I think if you create a project template, it should save ALL data from the project you are creating it from. My business has a set list of tasks, but all tasks bull differently for each client. I envisioned a project template for each client that would have that same list of tasks, but with the correct billable rate for each respective client.

Elastic Pictures asked a question in Paymo on October 23, 2009 02:31:
Report show dollar amounts?I am new to Paymo, and I am very impressed. It includes many of the features that we are looking for, and from looking at recent posts, some of the issues I have seen will be resolved soon. Most importantly is user based task fees.
Back to the issue at hand. I might just be missing something, but when I generate reports only hours are shown, not dollar amounts. Is there a box I need to tick? Seems like if I setup a task called Design that bills at $100 per hour and the report says 10 hours, it should say - Sample Project - Design - 10:00 - $1000.00. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance.-
