SUMMARIZING A LITTLE....

From just spinning thru these it seems like US Cell users have one prob, while Sprint users have a seperate prob.

USCell users can GET tweets, but not send any.
Sprint users can SEND tweets, but not get any.

Just to summarize what I'm seeing so far...

* Still receiving tweets via sms now? -YES

* Support ticket number (if one has been logged): (6-digit number only, no letters)- N/A
* Any comments or observations: -This started happening the same day the @ issue was resolved for USCell customers. I started receiving @'s, and stopped being able to send tweets via text.
I receive almost all friend tweets, but nothing I send gets thru. No tweets, no commands, DM's, nothing.

Is anyone else on USCell noticing now that you cant post tweets via your cell phone? Ever since this @ problem was fixed, I no longer am able to communicate with twitter via text message. I still GET messages, but none of my tweets or commands that I send via text are picked up. It seems suspicious that this happened the very same day the @'s started working.

ANYONE ELSE ON USCELL HAVING THIS PROBLEM??

If I update via text, my tweets do not show up, and have not been for a few DAYS.
I have tried txting "ON" and get no response
I have tried texting "HELP" and get no response from twitter either.
I've also tried some "GET" commands, etc, and it seems like twitter just isnt hearing my tweets.

However, I AM GETTING all tweets from friends. Everything comes INTO my phone fine, but nothing from me is getting back to twitter.

This seems to have started the same day twitter fixed the @ problem with USCell users. (Which was awesome btw!)

Please help! I'm cut off!

Here's the situation. USCellular customers have this problem where any texts from Twitter containing an @ come through with everything blank starting at the @.

THIS SUCKS because any @replies we get come thru as blank texts! Cant get our replies! Twitter knows about the problem (and has for 6+ months) and isnt fixing it.

YOU COULD SWOOP IN AND BE THE SAVIOR HERE!!!
If you could somehow offer @ replies (using track) but strip the @ off, USCellular users could use Tweettrak as a workaround for getting their @ replies!

This is an unbelievably frustrating problem with Twitter for USCell users, and I cant tell you what a hero you'd be if you gave us a solution!

And for the record, even Tweettrak's @messages-converted-to-DM's come through blank after the @, since it's comeing from Twitter, it suffers the same problem. Delete/replace the @, and we're in business!

Lot's of unhappy USCell tweeters there.

Starting around HERE a Twitter employee asked for examples, so if you go there you can see what we're dealing with.

I agree. It has not worked on the last 3 phones, all on USCell. And it's clearly NOT the phone or the carrier alone, because if a friend texts me directly with an @ in the text, it comes thru fine. ONLY texts from Twitter with @'s in them fail.

My phone is brand new (2 weeks) Motorola Krzr and it still doesnt work, as with the phone I had before, Nokia 6265i (awesome phone).
So yeah... it's not my phone :(

I am having this issue with US Cellular as well. It's only occuring with Tweets. Regular texts from friends, etc come through fine with @'s in them, but tweets with @'s get eaten.
