Hi Ola!
In the recent days I was busy with several desktop applications, which have a sister application on http://alternativeto.net/mobile and vice versa.
Therefore I suggest to provide an active link in such desktop applications to http://alternativeto.net/mobile/ and vice versa.
I have done a screenshot to illustrate this:

EM4020 replied on October 29, 2009 19:59 to the problem "Why can't I change the order of filters in Gmail?" in Google:
This solution is not good enough, in my opinion (IMHO). There must be an easy possibility to set the position of each filter. So You can do in Thunderbird, AOL-Mail, Yahoo-Mail, GMX-Freemail and ALL other Free-Mail-Systems I know. Only GMail does not allow to sort the Mail-Filters. Until this big disadvantage will be fixed, I work with Thunderbird as user Interface for GMail.

EM4020 shared an idea in Google on August 22, 2009 18:57:
Please, make pictures from the clipboard pasteable in new messagesI have on occasion the need, Screenshots from the clipboard in a new E-MAIL to paste.
This is possible only with Outlook Mail or with Thunderbird.
Unfortunately, this does not go with GMail until now.
It isn't very cool to make a Copy, save it in file and then to load the file into the mail.
In Austria GMail-Friends also suggested this idea.

Thunderbird is the ideal User Interface for Gmail and AOL Mail, it has, what I miss with GMail6 disadvantages of Web-GMail compared with Thunderbird/Outlook/AOL mail:
With the Gmail Web interface today I miss several useful features. Who wants to use today already these features, must not use GMail Web interface, but must take Thunderbird as user interface for IMAP Gmail and GMail only as at the basic Mail archive, as long as Google will have repaired these disadvantages of the young GMail.

I also see 6 disadvantages of Web-GMail compared with Thunderbird/Outlook/AOL mail.
If Google could improve these 6 disadvantages, that would make Gmail better in my opinion.

EM4020 replied on August 22, 2009 18:11 to the question "Gmail: filter mail without subject" in Google:
With Outlook instead of WebInteface-GMail one has the following auxiliary advantage:
- Title and text of received E-Mmails in the mail-Archiv is later afterwards alterable
