Yes, could end up being about an hour. We are shooting for around a half hour at this point, but sometimes things take a bit longer. We'll work quickly... but smartly :)

Yola logins disabled for short time today for maintenance.Hi everyone,
Logins will be disabled for a short time today (December 16th) at 4pm PST for scheduled maintenance. This will be quick, we anticipate about 20 minutes. Thanks so much for your patience while we do this, and as always we will have you back in your Site Builders as quickly as possible.

A comment on the question "why can't i drag a text component to my page?" in Yola:
Hello jonhywhy,
Unfortunately it is not possible to add another drop zone to the site as they are set by the style. I'm sorry I don't have better news for you on that. Possibly if you look through the styles you will find one that suites you better.
Kind Regards,

A comment on the question "no index, no follow concerns" in Yola:
I'm sorry, I believe I answered you incorrectly. If you would like to place the noindex nofollow meta tag in an HTML Widget at the top of your page you can try this. I cannot say for sure that the search engine will find it as they look for meta tags in the Head section, but it is worth a try if it is important to you. – Emmy, on December 16, 2009 19:16
Emmy replied on December 16, 2009 19:15 to the question "no index, no follow concerns" in Yola:
Hello wbnorwood,
There is a place in the Content Sidebar under Properties where you can add the meta tags such as title, description and keywords. Here is a link with more information on this: Adding Meta Tags.
Hope this helps!

I see what you are saying Lee. We could be more clear on that point I believe in the tutorial. I think using a dash, such as meet-friends.com is definitely doable, but sometimes people get into the meet-friends-online-today-chicago.com and it can get really messy for them. Thanks for the suggestion!

Emmy replied on December 16, 2009 17:27 to the problem "not able to publish anything on my site!" in Yola:
Hello lplpllpll,
I'm sorry you are having trouble with this. I do see that your site is published, here is a link: http://www.sriganpatihandicraft.com/ and a screen shot of what I see when I go to your domain:

Is this not what you are seeing? Have you possibly added new content to your site and it is not showing on the published site? If this is the case you just need to click "Update Site" and this will apply any changes you have made to the live site.
Let us know if you are still having any trouble.

Emmy replied on December 16, 2009 17:03 to the question "Add this Button" in Yola:
Hello,
I'm sorry you are having trouble with that. I have taken a look at the code and tested it in a blog post, and outside of a blog post, and it does not produce a drop down in either place. But when I click on it it gives me another page with a list of the options for sharing. I can't tell by looking at the code if it is supposed to produce that or not as it is pulling from another location.
Possibly someone else here will have an idea on how to change that. Or else I would suggest seeing if the entity you got the code from has any idea why the drop down is not displaying.
Kind Regards,
Emmy

Hello Vincent,
I'm sorry but it is not possible to upload and open files for a previously built site into the Yola Site Builder, as for a site to work in Yola it needs to be built using the Site Builder tools.
I'm sorry I don't have better news for you on that. If we can assist you further with support and information on using the Yola Site Builder please let us know.

Emmy replied on December 15, 2009 17:56 to the question "Search Engine Details?" in Yola:
Hi John and Seaview Flowers,
I have taken a look at the returns in the search engine in both Google and Yahoo.
I do see that in Google it is displaying Index of/, and if you click on the Cache link it shows that this is a snapshot of the site from November 28, so that is the last time the search engine was there.

I would suggest resubmitting your sitemap. It is important not to do this very often though as Google might look at this like spam. The best way to get Google to come to your site and keep fresh copies of your site pages in its index is to add to your site often.
Here is how to resubmit your sitemap in your Google Webmaster account:
1. Sign into your Google Webmaster account.
2. Click on the URL link of the site you want to resubmit a sitemap for.
3. In the Sitemaps section click on the link that says "More".
4. Click "Resubmit Sitemap".
I also looked at the cached version in Yahoo which shows what the site that is in the cache looks like, and it is quite different than the current site. This is most likely the site from Joomla.
So it is just taking some time for the search engines to re-index the new content. Again, the best thing to do is add fresh content which in theory trains the search engine to come back and re-index often.
A great way to add fresh content often is with blogging. If you want to take a look at adding a blog to your site here is a link to our tutorial: Starting a Blog With Yola.
Hope this helps!
