If a PDF contains normal, selectable text (e.g. you did a Print to PDF from MS Word or something like that), we will index that text on all platforms, and you can search for notes containing the corresponding PDFs.
If a PDF contains an image which happens to be a bitmap picture of text, then we do not do text recognition on that bitmap image, so you can't search for words that appear within pictures that are inside of a PDF file.

Engberg replied on May 11, 2009 18:23 to the question "Evernote on BlackBerry?" in Evernote:
Evernote for BlackBerry only works on recent BlackBerries that are running operating system version 4.6 or later. To check the version on your device, hold down the 'alt' and 'shift' keys at the same time and then hit 'h'. Your device must say
App Version: 4.6.0.0
or higher to run Evernote. If your device is running an older version of the operating system, you should contact your carrier to upgrade.
If you are running a suitable version of the BlackBerry, you can download Evernote from the App World.
If you can't access App World, then you try an unsupported preview from:

I was able to find the app by name in App World, and by category. If it's not working for you, what network carrier are you using?
Until BlackBerry 4.6, RIM didn't include an HTML control that was capable of displaying Evernote notes within an application. 4.6 is the first version of their platform that gave developers a real way to use HTML in an app.

HTML doesn't really have tabs, so that's why I was thinking this may have come from some other app instead of the web.
You could send us the file by clicking the "Support Inquiry" link at the bottom of http://www.evernote.com/about/contact... , and then fill out that form. As soon as you get the automatic acknowledgment email, you can reply to that email and attach the file. (Sorry that's a little roundabout.)
Thanks

1) How did you get that 'tab' into your GN? I tried just hitting the 'tab' key while typing a note into GN vai Firefox, and didn't see any oddities in the export. Did your tabs come from copy&paste from some other app or something? If so, from where?
2) Thanks for pointing out this bug. If you change the URL to access via "https", it goes away: https://www.evernote.com/GoogleNotebo...
Needless to say, we'll fix the underlying problem.
Thanks

Not really, although you could use the web UI to access one of the accounts, instead.
You could also consider installing the Portable version of the app on a USB key for use from the PC. This doesn't require permission to install software on the computer, and all of your data goes with you on the USB.
