Hmm, perhaps I have missed something here! I thought Spotify's normalisation was a replay gain function eg. that changes the volume of an entire track, thus preserving dynamics, as opposed to Limiting which dynamically changes the volume during a track.
Could someone confirm the multi-thumbed contributors point?

Whilst it's attracted some criticism from people worrying about noise floor etc... those of us with the headroom to turn it up are benefiting from this feature as we don't have to constantly muck about with the volume control when we go between recent hyper compressed CDs and older recordings that have headroom built in.

Hi, I also have seen this problem, and can confirm it's not an obvious audio settings issue. Other tracks not on this album play just fine, so I conclude my audio settings are OK.
