    enorlin@mac.com
    1. Intimacy: if 1000s of people on an expo floor, booth babes and people that aren't *really* digging into a topic are your thing, then don't come to defrag.

    2. Quality: Defrag's not some large conference/media company that puts on dozens of shows a year. Its a small team of really dedicated people that started a conference because they care about a topic (and want answers).

    3. Attendees: Defrag is *primarily* about the attendees. Our content, atmosphere, setting, food, wifi (oh yes - GREAT wifi), everything is about getting it right. Will we get it 100% right? of course not, but we'll work our asses off getting there.

3a. Defrag's intersection of topics (the implicit web, semantic web and enterprise 2.0-y stuff) brings some really interesting ideas and people to the table that you don't hear elsewhere. Remember when you used to go to a conference and just get *enthused* about doing stuff? Defrag.
