I've given up on Songbird; it's clear the developers don't care to implement requested features, and its poor performance was getting to me. Here's wishing them luck with their product.

It would be fantastic if this happened, but given the length of time since this was originally asked I absolutely don't expect anything.

I asked this question just over a year ago (http://www.songbirdnest.com/node/2503), and several times since and I've never had it answered adequately. Will Songbird support Global Hotkeys for linux, or the ability to send Songbird to the tray?
