I wanna know why iPhonny **hahaha** gets all the attention... Everyone thinks it is so great. blah blah blah... If you ask me, the Pre puts the best of all the best devices into one... It's got the gesture support (BB inspired IMO), the laucher (iPhone inspired), and a slide out keyboard... obviously, this should have been one of the first NEW phones to be supported.
I think IMHO the release has something to do with the powers that be saying what to happen. They haven't given an update for ANY Palm products yet. Perhaps they are waiting to be able to support the Pixi and Treo too? We'll see I guess.-

You can't just "adjust" an existing format... Every or just about every different manufacturer has a different operating system, and then depending on the memory style you need to completely reprogram things... I.E. Screen Resolution comes into play, along with memory references and the like... -

With all the phones out there software development isn't THAT easy guys and takes LOTS of time. They don't charge us for the download. I myself have an Instinct but I am planning on upgrading to the Pre soon. Give them some time, be thankful, and not so demanding! =)
