System Incident Report - Dec 3/08To all our users,
I wish to sincerely apologize for an incident that occurred in Sitemasher’s production system on Dec 3 that caused a brief service outage to some of our customers. The incident was caused by an unexpected failure in our database subsystem. The failure was quickly rectified and all systems were restored to their last good state immediately thereafter. In addition, we have modified our code to prevent this type of failure from occurring in the future.
If you believe your website has changed unexpectedly since December 3, please reply to this thread and we will get to the bottom of it immediately.
I want to assure all of our users that up-time and protection of your data is of utmost importance to us. We have fully redundant hardware and software and perform nightly, off-site backups so you can be sure that we can restore sites to their state as of the previous night even in the event of a total data center failure as we have data centers in multiple cities that host your websites and our service.
Again, please accept my apologies for the incident – and any problems it may have caused you - and be assured that we are doing our utmost to prevent it from happening again.

You should be able to set the home page by going into studio, then to settings: site (on the RHS of the toolbar) and specifying which page you want to be your home page in the site properties page dialog that pops up. -

Yes, this is in our road map. https is supported in the dashboard now, but not yet for published sites. This will become more important as we release features that require a login on the published site. E.g. Shopping carts, etc.
