The company I work at uses Sonic Wall, which blocks most shortened URLs. I can, however, *see* the expanded URLs in Brizzly. Thus, I can highlight the expanded URL, copy to the clipboard, and paste into a browser. Ideally, Brizzly would give me a configurable option so all I need to do is click the URL. As others have pointed out, this is super easy to do via JavaScript. You would preserve the original shortened URL when I post or retweet, but when I click on an expanded URL that I'm viewing, just go directly to the expanded URL.-
