Thanks. That ("support Flock and recommend Flock to their users. They also perform some testing with Flock instead of just Firefox") makes sense.

So, how about adding Minimap Sidebar http://minimap.spatialviews.com/, as its author recommends Flock. And Screenshot too (http://flock.spatialviews.com/)

Seeing cliKball on Flock's extension page surprises me, as I thought only Flock-only extensions would be hosted by Flock. "Extensions.flock.com currently only supports extensions and themes designed specifically for Flock."

What's up with cliKball being hosted on https://extensions.flock.com/extensions/ when cliKball is also available for Firefox (http://www.clikball.com/download) ?

I updated Flock from 2.0.2 to 2.0.3 and then "Offline" appeared to the left of "Settings". Clicking on Offline, begins the process of activating Gears for the site. – erich13, on February 07, 2009 17:15

I'll take that back. I finally got the "Offline" link next to "Settings", clicked on Offline and accepted the installation of Gears for Google Docs.

Flock version 2.0.3 still does not work with Gears. Again, I have Gears installed on my computer and a visit to http://gears.google.com/ confirms this (and that I am using the current version of Gears: 0.5.4.2)

Still not working today. Tried disabling Flashblock, NoScript, and AdBlock, still hangs. Yes, searching from the media bar at YouTube also hangs.

Let me re-iterate: I am able to install Gears in Flock, from http://gears.google.com/, but it does not work.

And let me explain "does not work": I am able to successfully install Gears, but the gears functionality does not appear to be working within Flock. For example, when I go to a google document, it is not saved in the user local profile directory (http://code.google.com/apis/gears/gea...)

I've tried revisting the bookmarks, tried removing one and adding it back, still no new favicon. So, I'll just wait for the update to eventually trickle in.
