Eric Mortensen reported a problem in blip.tv on September 29, 2009 17:12:
YouTube crossposting converts 720p video to SD.youtube cross-posting with analytics is _almost_ cool except (unless i'm doing it wrong) 720p HD videos uploading to blip.tv don't end up @ youtube in 720p. They become letterboxed 4:3 SD videos. If you guys fix this, the Pro price would be so worth it!

Eric Mortensen asked a question in Twitter on August 09, 2009 17:17:
Why do attempts to change anything on my settings page error out? When I try to change *any* item on my settings page, it fails. It was actually generating error messages a few days ago, but now I'm I'm just greeted with a blank page after a long wait. When I return, nothing has changed. I've attempted this probably ten or twenty times over the last three or four days.

Minor YouTube notification issueYou might encounter notification malfunctions when adding your YouTube account. Even if you are not notified, it is safe to assume that your YouTube account was added without incident. We hope to have this problem solved shortly.
UPDATE: It no longer seems like your account might be failing to connect. It definitely *is* failing to connect. We're working with YouTube to remedy the problem.

Eric Mortensen replied on March 09, 2009 16:02 to the question "How do you add an additional format or file to an existing post?" in blip.tv:
You can add more formats to a post by clicking the "Edit" button when you're viewing a video. You can find the "edit" option on both the episode page and the blip.tv dashboard.
Then click the "Add additional format" link. Browse to the file you want to upload, select it, and when you're done click the "Update" button at the bottom of the page.

Eric Mortensen replied on February 17, 2009 22:08 to the problem "edited cross-post with wrong player." in blip.tv:
Absolutely. You can create a custom show player in your dashboard (http://blip.tv/players/edit/) and check "Enable h.264 MPEG-4 video support in player". Anyone with the current version of Flash will see your .mp4 file. Users with older versions of the plugin will fall back to the .flv.
You can find more technical information about this in our wiki (http://wiki.blip.tv).

Some flash conversions take longer than others. The file size, video length and resolution can all affect the amount of time it takes to convert. And if you're automatically cross-posting the flash version, the system will have to wait until the conversion is finished before it can send it out.
Can you please clarify? What do you mean by "editing a cross-post". You say you want the player to match. What do you want it match up with?
