Eric Mortensen replied on February 09, 2009 18:42 to the question "thumbnail or not to thumbnail" in blip.tv:
You can likely extract a thumbnail using your editing/encoding software. You can also do a screencap while the video is playing or paused.
Eric Mortensen asked a question in Vodpod on February 06, 2009 17:20:
blog imports aren't working on my podsI have 10 pods set up and use blog imports for each of them. They all appear to have stopped working. I've ensured that the feeds are not too large, as that has been the source of problems in the past. Any ideas? The "hotepisodes" pod is the one I use the most.

Sorry about that. My original email had a typo. Try sending to support@blip.tv instead of suppport@blip.tv. oops!
Eric Mortensen replied on February 05, 2009 19:45 to the question "How do I upload multiple videos WITH their information applied?" in blip.tv:
UpperBlip allows you to uploaded batches of content while filling out the information ahead of time. We can also do a custom import of your RSS feed, as long as it contains enclosures and relevant metadata. If neither of these things meet your needs, we'll do our best to find a way to get your content into our system with minimal pain. Just shoot an email to suppport@blip.tv and we'll get back to you ASAP.
It's also worth noting that a revision of our standard upload system is on the way. Stay tuned.-

Eric Mortensen replied on January 19, 2009 19:28 to the question "How do I upload or transfer a lot of videos at once?" in blip.tv:
If the files are on your own computer, there are two ways to do this. One is to use UpperBlip, our free desktop application for Windows, Mac and Linux. The other is to use an FTP client to transfer files by FTP.
If you need to move files from another video-hosting service, we have a new application that can take an RSS feed with enclosures and bring all the files over to blip.tv. If you'd like to do this, use our support form to send us the URL of your feed and we'll check it (not all RSS feeds are suitable) and set things up for you.

http://blip.tv/rss/bookmarks/24810 is an example. But it throws that error no matter what I use. I've had this problem from time to time in the past. But it happens 100% of the time now.
