You do not need to deactivate it :)
Once you embed the image with either the Plug-in or through the site, you cvan resize the image with the blog editor default tools as you would resize any other image.
Just make sure to keep the original ratio of the image between the width & height to display it correctly.

This is to ensure that PicApp images are served at the high speed (no matter where you or your readers are located at) & to ensure that no matter what happens to our servers (slow fail or hit by a lightning:) ), the images will be served on the blogs

SEO is one of the most important issues for bloggers when it comes to promoting their blog & get more readers.
One of the many things we are proud of with PicApp is our SEO value we provide to blogs using PicApp images.
By using the PicApp image you automatically get an image which is configured to best fit search engine indexing.
We actually see this every day, blogs using PicApp images get more traffic from search engines (especially image search) which can (in some cases) be up to 50% of the total traffic to their blogs
So by using PicApp images, not only that you do not affect the SEO badly you actually improve it.
(of course you must configure your blog to be indexed by search engines)
If you use any traffic measurement tools (such as Google analytics), you can compare yourself the traffic from search engines before using PicApp & after using it for a while.

Are you using Wordpress.com or self hosted Wordpress (.org) ?
Wordpress.com is not supported by PicApp at the moment.
For Wordpress.org you need to embed the PicApp code in HTML view.

Weird case indeed.
We havent made any change in the site or embed that can explain this.
could it be that you accidently added picapp.com domain as a untrusted site in the IE or any of your browser add-ons done this automatically.
Do you have an adware installed (which for some reason it identify our images as ads).

If you have firefox or another browser installed, please try it & see if you see the images. If you don't see them on another browser, it could be a firewall or proxy confiugurations (which again for some reason block picapp url's).

We do not allow the download of images to the PC or serve them through any 3rd site like Photobucket as all of our images are copyrighted.
However we do have several solutions for users.
