i will let you know when updated it ed but have 15 or so companis to add and going to try adding all my anchor links on all my pages today so got my work cut out !

Hi again !

Wanted to find out how easy/hard it would be for me place a site search engine on my site that allows visitors to find a specific company on my site for example if they where looking for play.com they could enter in the search box and find all the links in the different areas of my site not externally ?
The site search that i currently have on my site only enables you to find keywords such as dvds on specific companies.
I know i would prob have to pay for this but does anyone know any links or how i would go about this ?
I know this is going ti take alot of work but hoping it will make my site more user friendly and sticky.

Yeah good site with good content
One thing though i would suggest taking some of your tabs from your menu at the top of your page as gets in the way of your text on your pages.
Do this by going to the edit menu tab and remove some of them.
Then create them as either a text menu consisting of links or use a menu building program to create a html code for you to put on the pages.

Take at look at www.webwander.co.uk and you will see what i mean
would appreciate a bookmark ( cheeky i know gotta try) you will find the bookmark tab on my home page.

Hi iam trying to include a menu that i have created by using allwebmenus but i am having trouble saving the compling the menu in all web menus ?
It requires you to compile it to your site root folder (where your site is locally stored) i have no idea what this means and there help is giving me a headache ?
Any ideas ?
I know this is not synthasite related directly but any help would be appreciated

Stumble upon is another good one and shows up on google as a review which cant be bad and others can see it.
Another useful thing has a tool bar so you can easily rate a site if you like it.

What is the best ways to go about getting my page rank upped and the best way to get backlinks ?
I have read some of the other postings and other sites info but alot seems to contradict each other !
I also know that alot of the top ranking sites in my area of online shopping have more than a 1000 backlinks by using SEO spyglass which allows you to view competitors links.
But how do these companies go about getting these links and is it best to pay for links from high page ranked sites or stick to free links from lots more smaller sites ?
I know thats its best to get links from sites that have a similar area to yours etc but with my site having so many (lol) its hard to find sites that are not in direct competition to mine so a waste of time trying to link to these.

Have a look at webwander.co.uk and any suggestions of sites would be a great help

Its not because you have copied it from notepad is it ?
I have problems myself when doing this and have had to transfer it to a word doc then copy and paste from there and its worked fine.
Just a thought maybe worth a try
