I disagree, the idle function is awesome. I walk away from my desk all the time, so it's great that I don't have to remember to turn it to the private every time.

Priority no. 1 for me: Keeping idle activated by default.
Priority no. 2: Building the ability to turn it off, if you want. As I can totally see why people would want to track all time, whether or not they're mousing/typing.
