Wonder if this is being worked on as majority of the reason I upgraded. Like many storing my complete collection on a main drive (laptop) is impossible.

Another that can't seem to subscribe. My main library is stored at Public:Our Music: on an external NAS drive. Simply doesn't show (though prefs are set to subscribe). Something to keep in mind many like I have multiple libraries, including out of practicality on a laptop. I use Libra to manage, but you can do it inside iTunes itself so there has to be a switching of library XMLs. If I switch to my abridged library (which is in default location on primary hd) it shows, but not if main.

The Libra app creator seems to have reverse engineered the preferences process. Maybe contact Roy - http://homepage.mac.com/sroy/libra/

If you file a bug report and say, "iTunes not working in 2.0.2", and append your iTunes preference file, that'd help a ton!

I agree with Sarah, it would be a nice feature. however parsing context specific tweets can be a bit of a headache (i've personally done this for a project myself).

Best bet is to just use sms or the mobile app to post about that location and then have Brightkite repost to your Twitter account on your behalf.

Hrm. Well, I made changes, I guess for some people it got worse. I wish there were some documentation on how iTunes uses its preferences.

I'll have to ask you guys for you iTunes preference files again when I look into this -- right now I'm fixing FTP publishing problems, though.

Borrower tab not updated with lending state

In 2.0.2, selecting an item and dragging it to a borrower adds the "Out" sash to the top of the detail view immediately, but the "Borrower" tab doesn't appear until the item has been unselected and reselected.



Correspondingly, clicking "Check In" on the Borrower tab doesn't visually update any state until the item is unselected and reselected.

Optional return date

It would be nice to not have to give a return date for borrowed items. Most of the time, I just want to track who has which item of mine, and don't get concerned if they haven't returned it in a specified period of time. In those situations, having Delicious Library flag the borrower's count in red and change "Out" to "Late" on the details sash is a bit of unnecessary distraction.

Also show's a generic person silhouette icon for people whose image shows up under the friend's list (presumably the image from address book should be used in both).

In 2.0.2, the "Borrower" tab for a borrowed book shows "Borrower Name" to the left of the "person" icon, instead of what should, presumably, be the borrower's name.

I'm having a similar problem. My iTunes Music folder location is set to esd:Music:, which is a non-standard location (I think the default is ~/Music/iTunes), and is also hosted on a FileVault image (which is why the location starts with my home directory name, I think).

The way the behavior manifested was that changes I made to my iTunes Library were not being reflected in DL2. I restarted DL2, and saw that the changes were still not reflected. So I unchecked and rechecked "Subscribe to my iTunes library" in Preferences. That resulted in the iTunes shelves totally disappearing from the source list, as David describes, and restarting DL2 and unchecking/rechecking the preference doesn't seem to help.
