Avoid creating duplicates in library when adding playlistsIs there a way to add a previously created playlist without creating duplicates in the library. I had playlists created in WMP and was wanting to use them in Songbird, but when ever i import a playlist, it creates duplicates of all the songs in my library.

Amazingly enough, all traces are gone from here and google, but I'll be keeping an eye on it. – Spock is Evil, on August 16, 2008 21:47

except if you do a search on google, it will no doubt lead back to all your information on your page. Which is the problem i have now. – Exodus, on August 16, 2008 13:28

It's funny, this was almost the first thing I looked for having just downloaded a couple of tracks with Songbird. I wanted to see where it had put them, and then delete them.
So yes please, 'Locate on Disk' or 'Locate in Windows Explorer' is a must, and 'DELETE' would be nice too ;-)
Great work guys, keep it up. You will have millions of people switching from iTunes once this is finished x

I had this problem using the nightly build on 7/29/08. None of my files seem to have meta data until the song plays for 3-4 seconds. Also parts of meta data are not being read. I have embedded album art on most of my songs along with tons of additional info, Songbird does not seem to be able to read some of the alternate info :( I am on XP sp2.
