Yeah, I just regularly check http://textism.com/favrd/favorites/person/[username] to see my tweets that have been favorited. – weskimcom, on July 17, 2008 18:13

That could work, but there's no individual RSS feed. Just a big unified one. I admit, though, the request for an RSS feed of that data is outside the scope of the original request. – Josh Lewis, on July 17, 2008 17:35

Try http://textism.com/favrd/. Well, once they're back online anyway. (They're down at the moment while some twitter API updates take place.) – weskimcom, on July 17, 2008 16:53

Cameron Walters replied on July 03, 2008 16:55 to the question "FAQ: How do I get PodWorks?" in Sci-Fi Hi-Fi:
Hey Roni, you'll need to start PodWorks, plug your iPod or iPhone into your Mac, then look for your songs to show up in the main window.
The main window will show you all the songs on your iPod or iPhone, allowing you to copy one or all of them to your iTunes Library directly, or just to your computer (for backup or whatever).
Select the songs you want to copy, and click the appropriate toolbar button to copy them to your desired destination.
Simple!

I think the "Enable Disk Use" is there, but you may have to scroll down to see it. The following procedure worked for me in a complete recovery situation. (I.e., my hard drive fried along with 6,000 songs and data in iTunes, and a clean upload of everything in my iPod was my only hope for a restore.)
1. Open iTunes and click on iTunes Preferences in the menu bar at the top of the mac screen.
2. Go to the Synching tab (the last one), and check "Disable automatic synching for all iPhones and iPods". This is to stop iTunes from wiping out the music on your iPod before you can use PodWorks to restore the music from your iPod to your iTunes. Click OK.
3. Turn on your iPod and connect it to the first USB port on your MacBook (the one closest to the headphone jack - only matters on MacBooks). You should see your iPod appear in the left side of the iTunes window. Select that device in the left side of iTunes.
4. A white Summary tab (the first one) should appear on the right side of your iTunes window. You should see a picture of an iPod and the headings iPod, Version, and Options in bold gray letters. At the bottom under Options, SCROLL DOWN USING THE SCROLLBAR TO THE RIGHT OF THE ITUNES WINDOW until you see four checkboxes. Put these in the following states:
- Open iTunes when this iPod is connected - checked
- Sync only checked songs and videos - unchecked
- Manually manage music and videos - unchecked
- Enable disk use - MAKE SURE THIS IS CHECKED
5. At the bottom of the iTunes Summary window click Apply.
6. At that point, your iTunes and iPod should refresh, and a persistent iPod icon should appear on your desktop.
7. Start PodWorks, and low and behold (con la ayuda de Dios/Deus quiser/inshallah/shangdi baoyou) you should see the fields in the PodWorks window populated with all of your iPod data. At that point, you can select the songs you want to transfer, and hit the copy button. If you are in need of a complete restore (like I was), click the Copy All button.
8. Sit back, and enjoy watching PodWorks restore your music, artwork, ratings, counts, dates, and zillions of bits of metadata back to your iTunes!
Suerte!

While I don't understand the nature of this error message, I was getting it and found a work around.
I had several songs that became corrupted on my laptop (where I keep my main iTunes library). I tried to use PodWorks 2.9.3 to transfer them back to iTunes but generated this error message (-10006... as above) for each track. Deleting the songs from iTunes didn't resolve the issue.
I then loaded PodWorks to my iPod, transfered the songs to another iTunes on another machine, copied these files back to my laptop and then imported them back into iTunes. Now the songs are playing once again.
This resolved the issue for me. Hopefully it'll work for you as well and, perhaps provide some additional information to the nature of the original problem.
Take care,
Jeff
ciulla replied on June 23, 2008 20:40 to the question "Song plays for a few seconds then itunes changes song..." in Sci-Fi Hi-Fi:
Very similar thing happened to me. I put all my music from my iTunes library on my PC onto a flash drive, and after a few times filling it up and transferring to my mac mini iTunes library, it was finally filled.
However many of the songs on my mac mini itunes play for a few seconds and stop. The time code shows the full allotted time for the song, so I think it is on there somewhere.
can anyone help out on this issue?
