I'd like to browse by Month within a location to know more about the future foods in seasonLooking at my local area right now in the app (Oregon) nothing is in season and only a couple vegetables are coming soon. I'm most interested when say, strawberry season starts here in Oregon. I think it's around May, and I'm surprised it's not on the coming soon list. I can browse by food and find Strawberries but it only shows where it is in season now and soon (all states farther south than Oregon), but I kind of want to know when it'll get here.
Maybe instead of browse by state, which I can't see using unless I traveled and cooked while on the road (something I only do once or twice a year), I wish there was a way to go farther into the future.
How about on my results screen for what is in season, below in the coming soon section show everything that is coming up for the rest of the year, with a little month indicator in small text. That way I might learn in March that Apples come in season in Oregon in September and I'll say to myself "huh, I should remember to plan an apple orchard weekend in the early fall and maybe research some travel plans now, well ahead of time".-

Bug: Logging in clears out your shopping cartI get the weekly emails of new designs, I often find 1 or 2 I like, and end up adding to my cart. When I hit checkout, I remember I should log in, since you have all my address details and my threadless points, but when I do, my shopping cart gets cleared out every time. Usually I quit, sometimes I go back and shop again for stuff, but I really wish Threadless worked like Amazon where stuff in your cart isn't lost when you log in at payment time.
I captured a short movie of this bug (and described it on my blog as well):
http://images.metafilter.com/threadle...
The first one shows adding to cart, logging in, then going to cart shows it is empty.
The second bit at the end shows a shirt in the cart, then logging in, and seeing the cart get emptied. I've noticed this bug for the last year or two and I think it'd result in a lot more sales if it was fixed.

This was answered on Ask MetaFilter earlier today. Turns out they are different artists that sold their stuff on iStockPhoto -- their names are listed in that thread I linked.

Trip descriptions shown on a user's main page of trips?I'd like to see Notes on Trips exposed more. When I look at a friend's planned trips for the next six months, they may have 3 or 4 cities listed, and almost always there is 1 Note for each, describing what the trip is for, made by the user taking the trip.
Figuring out why my friend is going to be in my town and three other towns takes an awful lot of clicking, then clicking back, then more clicking just to see a single sentence that is most often like "visiting family" or "attending the $foo Conference". I'm specifically asking about adding information to a dopplr.com/traveller/$username page. I like to quickly scan that page for friends (it's my main interface to the entire site, surfing friends' profile pages) and know why they're going to be in town in a single glance.
Certainly, it'd be easy to just surface those short descriptions (even just the first 200 characters would be enough) on a user's home page of Trips, no? Basically if the first Note is by the same author as the Trip, then show the first x characters on their main user page along with the Trip information.
If promoting the first Note up on a user's page is too much to ask, I notice that "Notes" are used like comments in similar systems and maybe what I'm asking for is instead a standalone "trip description" field that is separate from Notes that could be surfaced for easy scanning of where and when (this would add Why) my friends will be traveling.

Google recently updated Gmail for the iphone and I have to say it's really close to perfect. Even on EDGE, it loads fast and reading messages is quick. Web links in email automatically open in new windows which is nice, and they load the full versions of the pages (they used to go to a html proxy that stripped everything).
About the only thing lacking is that there's not javascript auto-complete when addressing a new message, but I just bookmark my contacts page and start new messages from there.-
