A few days back, I chanced upon a shop that sells Timbuk2 bags while shopping and went in to ask if they take custom orders. But the person told me that the distributor doesnt accept custom orders, instead they just take the "fixed" designs and distribute to the retailers and the fixed designs are mostly of weird colour matches

If you ask the distributor where to buy they'll give you address of the retailers, but maybe you can ask about custom orders. I heard that Fall Factor at Queensway takes custom orders, but that was quite some time ago when Timbuk2 put the retailer addresses on the website rather than the distributor for Singapore. No harm trying though.

If I'm not wrong, some Singaporeans did try asking the distributor but they told them to look for the retailers instead. I'll probably try to look for people to buy together around here

Maybe you can try combining an order with some others. I believe some Singaporeans did the same thing some time ago. Otherwise you can maybe approach the distributor to see if they have what you want or can bring in a custom order for you.

Sounds like you mean the cross strap. Like the one going around the chest as seen at http://www.timbuk2.com/tb2/cms/popup/... It'll say if its included in the Product Features on the page.

Completely agree with all the above. I'm pretty sure you guys used to make just such a product a few years ago. I thought when you first came out with the sleeve, it had rings and a rudimentary strap. Am I crazy?
