Sorry f4780y, I just thought this was a bug, and needed to be fixed, what the matter if "no other product" allows you to do that? before pacemaker you would even be thinking of what you are doing now with it.. :) (sorry if my english is not clear.. eheheh). I mean, now there's the chance to mix a lenghty set in a fraction of the time, meaning you can test the best order you wanna play the tracks, where you wanna cue in and out, and the ogg VBR that the PME exports is far enough quality to me. I just dont get why the song has to be corrupted where I fastforward. And let's face it, is out there really someone that will go playing live with the PM? cmon.. Being a DJ is far more than putting on track after track, you have to make everytime a little show, if not, you could just prepare your mixes with Tractor or some mixing software, and in the worst case, play the results directly from an Ipod. in the best case, have the notebook connected to the mixer... selecting a track with a mouse is something I always refused to do. PM is fun, I love it, and it's a killer when you are bored and have some spare time, but I'll never go playing live with a psp in my hand! I love sweating looking for the next record, with an eye on the countdown of the cdj and have people actually see it! I love to rise my headphone at the end of a set, is the moment where I'm taking credits for my music. I would do not rise anything after a set with PM, ready playlist, ready mixes, crates, search by BPM, all the songs in your hand, assisted beatmatch, most of the work is now done by the device! What would I be good at then?? They just need to add an automatic crossfader feature and you would just need to hook up the PM to the mixer and go dancing with your friends.. :-D this is ofcourse what I think.
Thanks for your reply, and sharing your opinions, all the best!!!

This sounds quite lame to me, I mean, I can use the PMD as an USB hard drive, I could move them by drag and drop from the PMD to the NETBOOK if the tracks werent cripled and nested in strange directories.. well, since I probably wont have ever 120gb of music that I want to mix, I may copy the original and already analyzed library on the PMD, and then move it around as I need.. anyway, lame that it's not exporting every track with the mix datas in a new dedicated folder, I mean, thousands of mp3 players allows you to move around the tracks and dont have any RIAA problem, IPOD is the lamest of them all.. but hey Steve, thanks anyway for the nice reply! :) let's see if someone from Tonium is going to say something too!! BESTSSS!!!

Pacemaker exports tracks together with mix datas??Is it possible to have an option so that the Pacemaker export also the mp3 tracks together with the mix to the host computer..? for example, I have my mp3 library on my desktop pc, but also the Pacemaker editor installed on my netbook, I dont wanna duplicate the library on the netbook, but do want to play with mixes on the go.. so when I export the mix to the notbook, the editor is complaining that it's not finding the tracks..

Fast Forward kill the track when recording mix! When I fasf forward a song in the pacemaker, while recording the mix, when I then move the mix to the computer, in the editor, where I fast-forwarded the track is blank! that's quite silly, the nice thing is that I could make a 2 hours mix in 20 minutes just by loading the tracks and jump to the mixing point without the need of hearing everytime the whole songs.. any fix for this? thanks!
