Widget to use on my websiteHave some sort of widget that I can put on my website that shows a summary of my hours, etc (or something like that) and links to my page on JetRecord. Like the widgets you can get for last.fm, etc (check out www.flymefriendly.com for a few examples).

Edit Group when viewing the groupAs a group owner, I can see the "Edit Group" option in the page that lists all my groups. How about including an EDIT option for the group owner when viewing the group? (eg: inside group.php)

Thanks mate - glad to hear it's going to happen :) – Falcon124, on October 26, 2008 12:23

Link current status to Twitter statusIt would be very handy to be able to link my Twitter feed to myTransponder's Status (like FaceBook offers). This would let me update in one place :)
A comment on the idea "Load or link photos of aircraft" in Jetrecord:
Yeah, I'm thinking there's something wrong with that URL - will give it another whirl soon :)
As to the old stuff up comments, yes please, it would be great if you could delete them :) – Falcon124, on September 10, 2008 22:47-

Hmmm - I must be doing something wrong - see http://jetrecord.com/aircraft/VH-IBL
By the way, is there a "Delete comment" or "Edit Comment" feature somewhere? :) :)

Load or link photos of aircraftIt would be great to upload images of particular aircraft or link to other places that may already have a photo online (like airliners.net if it's a big jet :)
A comment on the idea "Add aircraft serial number" in Jetrecord:
Excellent - I'm one happy camper :)
Thanks for the prompt turn around. – Falcon124, on September 06, 2008 01:23

All sounds great Harry - I'm hanging out to see the new design. I was going to do a mock up idea for you but then remembered you're doing one and figured I'd wait and see what it's like :) – Falcon124, on September 06, 2008 01:20

Just noticed that POB isn't showing up in the Dashboard page (list of most recent flights). Should it be in the RSS feeds and/or exports? – Falcon124, on September 05, 2008 05:52

Add aircraft serial numberThere's no field to record manufacturer's serial number for an aircraft. Rego's may come and go, but that stays the same :)
A comment on the idea "Add an "Instructor" field" in Jetrecord:
Yeah, that works well - very kewl :)
NOTE: In the flight list, it shows 1 POB - well, technically all flights have 1 POB (the pilot) - seems a little odd to see 1 POB when there were 2 or more. Not a major issue, just odd. Am trying to think what to put there instead of 1 POB and it's not easy to come up with something :) – Falcon124, on September 05, 2008 04:53
A comment on the problem "Google Maps for ROUTEs on circuits & training flights" in Jetrecord:
Alright - I have Route Editor power - woo hoo :)
As to the airports - no - I created them recently - I was only putting values in the ROUTES field. All the flights I entered over the past week or two were done with ROUTES and nothing else. I never set my home base until recently and I didn't put one in for the aircraft I flew as they're all based elsewhere these days :) – Falcon124, on September 04, 2008 12:14

Also, note that I loaded the YMMB, YMMB YMMB, YWCK and YWCK YWCK routes days ago. That's why I'm concerned that there's something wrong with the automated processing that's supposed to parse routes :) – Falcon124, on September 04, 2008 01:20

No joy - says I don't have permission to perform the requested action (when I go to routes/ymmb/edit) – Falcon124, on September 04, 2008 01:19
A comment on the idea "Enhanced search for Airports" in Jetrecord:
That's OK - it's not a critical thing - it's in the "Nice to have" list :) – Falcon124, on September 04, 2008 00:41
A comment on the problem "Google Maps for ROUTEs on circuits & training flights" in Jetrecord:
Ummmm - I must be missing something 'cos changing one of my flights to have a route of YMMB (instead of YMMB YMMB) didn't bring up the map (see http://jetrecord.com/Falcon124/flight...).
Is this because the Route YMMB existed before the airport YMMB was created? (http://jetrecord.com/routes/YMMB)
If so, how do I edit the Route YMMB so that it knows it's got an airport in it? The Route you mentioned (http://jetrecord.com/routes/YUM+IMPER...) has a set of locations in it. The YMMB route does not.
Am I missing something here? :) – Falcon124, on September 04, 2008 00:39
A comment on the problem "No Google map display on some flights" in Jetrecord:
OK - this does make sense. When I was loading the new routes, it didn't seem to parse them to create airport pages for YMMB and YWCK as searching through the airports list didn't find them. Once I created YMMB as my home base and clicked on it, it did create the airport page which then triggered the mapping as per the above.
Is the parsing script running OK? If it is, why wasn't an airport or FIX created for YWCK? (I used Search in the top right corner and YWCK doesn't show up anywhere). – Falcon124, on September 04, 2008 00:34
