Hello, I was able to move the PS Elements plugin folder to the PS plugin folder, and I was up and running. Thanks for asking.
I was just trying to share with you and others the problem I had. I rechecked my library/application support area - and included a snapshot here. Am I missing something? This folder is a bit sparse, as it's my Admin id, which is the ID I used to install Simplify, since I know it doesn't work with regular user id privileges.

Mac install is confusingSimplify Install - Mac version. I had difficulty installing the sw for PS CS3. After looking at the log, I realized that the installation was automatically putting it in my PS Elements 4 plugin subdirectory, not my Photoshop CS3 subdirectory. Can you please add some sort of option during the install that allows me to select the subdir where my app is?
Also, I was confused with the release notes that talk about files being put in the library/application support subdirectory. I didn't see any there. Am I missing something?
Finally, I'd like to again comment that I would really like to see this application be able to handle install by a regular user account - that is, ask me for my admin id/psw, and then let me install the sw. But, don't make me go log into my admin account just to install the sw.-

adjustOne suggestion I have for Topaz Adjust is the ability to size the plug-in window every time it comes up. I have a large monitor, and I would really like to be able to size the window so that it fills most of my monitor - any way you can offer some sort of preference that allows this sort of thing?
As an aside, after using the trial for a few weeks, I purchased my Mac copy and I'm thrilled with the sw! I was looking for a more reasonably priced sw that does effects that resemble Lucis sw. And the effects Topaz Adjust offers me are just what I was looking for. Love the new presets like Spicify that you recently released.

Eric, thank you for your reply. I did try to install the plug-in using my Admin user-id, and then the plug started working.
I normally install software using my regular Mac user-id, and Mac software I've installed in the past normally just prompts me for my admin id/psw when it's writing to areas that my regular user-id doesn't have access to. The installer did prompt me, and told me the installation was successful; hence my confusion. I think this type of installation should be supported.
BTW, so far, the software looks fantastic! I've been searching for a lucis look alike this week and found your product via plugandpixels.com.

cannot install mac trial versionAm attempting to install Topaz Adjust trial for mac. The installation appears to go ok.
I open Photoshop, click on Filters, and I see the Topaz Adjust function. I then click on it, and I receive the following error "Could not complete the Topaz Adjust command because -- Topaz Labs' plug-ins cannot find a trial or permanent license. .."
I have installed this multiple times, to no avail. I have tried two different licenses, to no avail. Can you please tell me how to resolve this issue? I have entered my name, company, and the correct serial number given.
I'm running iMac Intel dual core and CS3. My CS3 app is under a subfolder of the standard Applications folder, and I customized the installation to look for plugins in the custom plugins folder.
