    Google is now requiring new and old users to supply their website info. I'm not sure if google allows for adult content. Their fees are basically the same as paypal.

    Well does anyone know how Jommla works? I see they have something called "extensions" one called AEC that allows for a joomla site to bill members with CCbill, 2CO, Paypal, ClickBank and some others.

    Hey Dokun,

    I don't think just making a new paypal account will help. I already had 2 different paypal accounts. A Business one and a Premier one. They closed both.

    One was tied to my credit union and the business account to my B.O.A account.

    I would have to open a new bank account with a different home address and name so that when paypal do there verification nothing will link back to the closed accounts.

    That's what a friend of mine did when he had a bad sale happen on ebay. Supposedly he made a new paypal account 4 to 5 months later from the time they first closed his first account. 3 weeks into having his new account they closed it because his info was the same as a "closed by paypal" account.

    So I guess they behave like google with adsense. Once you do something out of their acceptable use policy even if by mistake, they ban you forever.

    Well lets hope I get this job, I have an interview for later today. 7 months of looking for a job and still no hire. My pockets are really really going to be feeling it now.

    Now that I'm thinking about it

    I hope no one who has an adult site with zocku is paying to use the membership billing.

    I tried to play paypal like the army, "Don't ask, don't tell".

    Untill you guys can use something like CCBill.com then maybe zocku needs to shut down the membership billing.

    Paypal Closed My Account becuase I have an adult website on Zocku.com!
    I never thought it would happen to me until I just read my email one hour ago.

    Since Decemeber 2008, I never had a problem with the billing system on SG/Zocku and Paypal ever actually closing my account forever because I have an adult site.

    I never mentioned anywhere in my paypal account any direct link to the site or any similar reference to the sites address. I figured they would easily just close my account if I did. Well they proved me wrong.

    I never liked paypal after they were bought by ebay. Those sneaky people over at paypal.

    I will be forced to close my site with you guys at SG/Zocku if you can't bring a new form of accepting payment for adult sites before the month of June is over.

    BELOW IS THE PAYPAL EMAIL THEY SENT ME:

    A Favorites List Tool for members Please
    I know I've asked for such a tool before, but this morning I noticed something crazy.

    Take a look at the picture below.

    A member had to create a blog on his profile with his own favs links. THAT'S SAD, REALLY.

    I had to write him and apologize for how non user friendly my site is becoming for all the content in it. Like the nearly 700 and counting videos that members can't search for the titles or by a tag in the "search" bar on all networks.

    Please someone, EvilGenius maybe. Can you help. I'm sure all networks especially the adult ones would really need this.

    Amen!

    I sent a message over a week ago, and now that I really need to send a message out but I'm not allowed.

    My alexa ranking increased nearly 100,000 cause of this in the past week. NOT GOOD.

    I have to remind my members from time to time about new stuff, but I only message them all when it's special new stuff.

    I'm wondering when will we be on a solid, out of beta platform.

    I see it's now visible to me,

    But

    I just clicked on the buy now on all of them and I get the same pop up message, "Please upgrade your site to a premium plan in order to purchase widgets."

    I thought all zocku members are on a premium plan.

    Francois
    Already complained about this twice, and got the same bland answer as, that is how the billing system functions.

    I really do think it NEEDS to be looked over. Reason being when a member cancels before there time is over, there account goes into "payment pending". Then you as the admin. know that they still have time left so you have to change their account to "member".

    Problem there is that within a few hours or a few days, it automatically goes back into "payment pending".

    On top of this admins have to get out our notepads and write down there member info and the date that you will go back and really place there account into "payment pending". Basically manually governing members accounts which kinda defeats the use of the billing system when paypal can provide you a subscribe button, so you can manually take charge of who becomes a members to your site.

    I suggest it be redesigned or a "big" warning (which will probably scare your potential new members away) stating that if they have any intentions of canceling there payment before the next billing cycle, to wait until at least the day before or your account simply will not work. No Refunds!

    Francois
    I feel the same way.

    Once this widget store opens we'll see how long from there it takes to get this kind of widget.

    I have a feeling that everyone with access to the widget store will get the webcam chatroom widget immediately.

    Hope there is a seamless way we could also add our logos to the widget and maybe change the colors so every site that gets the widget could look a little different.

    Anyway, anything that comes from the LAB is always very useful.

    Tom,

    Is there away that the system can mention to the new member when signing up, if they want to cancel that it would be best to cancel the day before.

    This way I won't have to message every new member and tell them this and avoid having them get angry that there membership goes back into payment pending when I change it to member.

    Maybe like a little warning message when they sign up.

    Here is the reply that was given:

    "Just spoke to a techy and he said this is the way the system is built.
    If you have any further queries feel free to contact me.

    Regards

    Max"

    Well my suggestion would be to go rebuild it, or stop trying to push $20 bucks for it.

    If I'm having to manually do things, I might aswell just make a subscribe button from paypal, put in on the welcome page. Then I'll have to monitor the list of paying members I would have to keep up with.

    Now it's also not functioning right with new paying members.

    I got a new subscriber just about an hour ago, checked paypal and the payment was not with an echeck so his membership should of automatically went into "member" status.

    Instead I had to manually turn his account from "pending payment" to "member".

    I hope it does not in few hours just automatically switch his account to "pending payment". I'm sure he'll end up complaining again and canceling his membership.

    Manage Members acting funny
    There is an issue with the member manager. For instance I have this one member who paid for his membership for the month and canceled the very same day. It automatically places his account into "payment pending".

    So I log on and change his status to "member". Then every day it changes back to "payment pending" by itself.

    Why is it that the member ship billing can not do this on it's own? It should know that the members account should be active until the day his account is to expire instead of it placing the members account into payment pending when they already paid for the month.

    Weeks for the widget store?

    You said few not couple, so I'm guessing a late April?

    Well at least I won't have to check like 5 times a day if there is any news on the day it comes out.

    I was hoping to get access to it before you guys start charging the adult networks for membership billing which will be $70 + what ever the widgets cost a month.

    - Quick Update -

    Alex had told me that javascript embedding is no longer allowed, He did correct all my current videos.

    So if any of you are using players from JW (longtailvideo.com) then use the embed codes they give you, not the javascript version.

    Embed Video Issue Part 2
    All my embedded video no longer work again. Today I tried the JW player (code example below) and got an error page saying that code is not supported. BTW all my videos use this type of code. (I had to remove < and > from the codes below for it to display on here)

    script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.jeroenwijering.com/embed/swfobject.js"
    /script
    div id="player" This text will be replaced
    script type="text/javascript"
    var so = new SWFObject('http://MY GODADDY PLAYER FLIE LOCTION','mpl','740','440','9');
    so.addParam('allowscriptaccess','always');
    so.addParam('allowfullscreen','true');
    so.addParam('flashvars','&file=http://MY FLV FILE LOCATION&skin=http://MY VIDEO PLAYER SKIN&bufferlength=12&volume=55&autostart=true');
    so.write('player');
    /script)

    BUT

    Then I tried the other code that none of my videos are encoded with (code example below) and it worked.

    embed
    src="http://MY GODADDY PLAYER FLIE LOCTION";
    width="740"
    height="440"
    bgcolor="undefined"
    allowscriptaccess="always"
    allowfullscreen="true"
    flashvars="file=http://MY FLV FILE LOCATION&skin=http://MY VIDEO PLAYER SKIN&bufferlength=12&volume=55&autostart=true&stretching=none";
    /

    I have over 500 videos currently, Am I really expected to go back and delete every video again and use the code that now works for the 4th time that I been here since January?
