My account was disabled yesterday out of the blue. I dont create groups, rarely message, and in reality don't use facebook a whole lot other then to keep up on events and friends news. The only thing I can figure out is that I was aggregating to much into my news feed, although they released the features for us to do that so I don't know.

I emailed them twice already with the only response being from the automated mailer.

if they ever decide to re enable my account, will i get my pictures and groups back??? i lost the pictures from my computer, they r pics of my daughter and my family : ( : (

Hey after reading all of these emails I didn't realize just how bad the situation is on face book. I created a group yesterday and it took me hours to compile the right research for the group - LGBT arts community [the pink brush] - I sent out about 10 messages explaining what the group is about and and then Fb disabled me with out pre-warning me b4 hand. I am on FB 24/7 all of my friends and family are on my fb and without there email address I can not get in touch to tell them what has happened and I am sure they are gonna be just as worried back. If I'd have known I wouldn't have even opened the group in the first place, but I suppose I was just trying to do one good deed helping and gathering out fellow LGBT artists globally. I feel that this is deeply unfair and I am extremely depressed about this situation I have taken time off work today to try and rectify the problem but all I got was an automated message saying they have received the enquiry and they will get back to me as soon as possible pls pls pls can somebody help me I am so very upset about this.

Please some 1 help i had my account disabled 3 days ago no reason why i think it was down to messaging members from my group but i am not a spammer i love facebook and check it every day i use it to keep in contact with friends and family ince i moved away i have photo's of my kids in my albums that i can not replace as my last pc that had them on broke and facebook is my only back up of them i have emailed loads of times with no reply please what can i do ? my facebook email is govanlass@msn.com please i need your help

a facebook adminitrator disabled my account because of rapid messages , please facebook administration enable my facebook account , this acoount is my life , i have more then 10 large groups that i am an admin
and i have a lot of photos and friends and the highest scores in application

I had a similar thing happen - suddenly I couldn't access my account at all - the password wasn't working even though I hadn't changed it. Then I asked a friend to check if I was still her 'friend' and she said I wasnt - my account doesnt exist anymore! I had no message from Facebook to tell me it was disabled - nothing! I am so frustrated and upset - I have never spammed, done anything 'profane' or wrong in any way. I can't believe there is noone at Facebook to talk to about this. My emails to login@facebook.com (sent a week ago) have gone unanswered after a week. I'm baffled and confused. Has anyone else had this problem??

was sending emails to friends on facebook but unaware of the terms, I created a group for charity love everyone group and put logo like save the children with a click., I was inviting people to joined me in the group. I got a email from Facebook they disable my account I dont understand this. My account, too, got disabled. They said the decision was final, but I have decided to take it a little higher.

also logged in to find my account has been disabled.even more annoying was to go to work and find out an employee had reported a picture on my profile as being theirs and i did not have permission to use it.Total nonsense (they meant it as a joke) but facebook disabled my account without any notice.still waiting to hear from them.( 2 days now).

Well, this is terrible. Facebook needs to be stopped. There is an equivalent service run by google which somehow seems fairer. If you still need to use Facebook just create a new account. It’s the easiest way, you won’t be breaching terms and conditions because you only have one account working.

The other method is through their telephone and address.

The Google equivalent is called Orkut. Maybe it pays to join several community systems rather than one as a back up.

I was really polite, and I asked them to answer tome WHAT HAVE I DONE to deserve the loss of my account. AND I'm waiting for two days and nothing. ALL that I got was automatic message that they 'd got my inquiry and that they should be back to me soon. And they didn't come back..I didn't tell them one single rood word , I was really polite and all that I want are answers. I'm not addicted to Facebook and I can live without it..I was using it only when I was board or when I wanted to be in touch with people that I can't always be with because I'm just a stundent and I live away from home. This was a great opportunity to speak to them..It's less expensive than to call them or send messages. And I said to them that they can disable my profile FOREVER, but only if I really deserve that, cause I WILL not pay for sins that I'm NOT TO BLAME !!! I could open my new account, but I WILL NOT, because I Will rather be without Facebook, then to be something that I'm not...They will lose all their customers unless they change their behavior...My friends are all dissappointed because they didn't even know what Facebook can do. I'm very sad, because I really don't deserve that behavior...What kind of people work there ??? I really wanna know....:-(

Account also disabled. No warnings. Unhappy.

I am sad because my Facebook account was disabled and I DID NOTHING to earn that. It's not fer and I would like to hear what I did. I'm not sad because they disabled it to me, I'm sad because I have to feel bad about my self..and there are a lot of people that really must be disabled because they abuse young people, especially girls. I want justice to be satisfied..If I am worse than them...I wanna know what makes ME, young girl with good behavior WORSE than pedophiles ???? I am a person that will be responsible for the bad things that I did, BUT ONLY if I really did earn that !

Oh no! :-s you all seem to be saying that you have to be polite in order to get a response from facebook! frankly I don't see why I should be- I've done NOTHING wrong and have had noo warning that my account would be disabled! they reckon i have to be part of a high school network, but I've never had a network [just like a billion other people!]
I'm not having this.
I've sent them a rather pressing email and am planning on carrying on doing that if I don't get a reply within the next week!haha

My account has been disabled because I have not joined a high school network.

However, I have never belonged to any network, ever since I joined facebook, many, many months ago- and have NEVER had any sort warning from Facebook that this might mean my account would be disabled! I feel very angry as if I had been made aware that belonging to 'no network' [just like many other users on 'facebook', and as something very easy to do] meant I would consequuently lose my account, I would most certainly have joined one.

I therefore feel disabling my account so suddenly and arbitrarily as an apparant punishment for something I did not even know I was doing wrong, is very harsh and drastic behaviour especially for a 'social networking site' created for use by general, ordinary people. Perhaps such drastic behaviour should be made clearer in your 'Terms of Use', as I am sure you are aware your youngest users are 13 years old?

I would like my account back as soon as possible, and if it is so vital, I will gladly join a network, but please give me every opportunity to do this!

In future I suggest you are curteous enough to send your members due warning that their account will be disabled, and the precise reason why- in order to allow them to do something about it.
