Picasa Web as a source for photosI'm not such a big Facebook user, but I have all my photos in Picasa Web. I'd love to be able to import my photos from Picasa into Polar Rose.-

I've signed up and added the Triggit javascript to my website, but I'm not using it until the whole thing is clearer and we hear from people who are actually getting paid. For me, the big bonus would be to be able to aggregate various small commissions and get paid from one source - when that happens I'll really use Triggit.

I guess this will always be an issue in times of user-generated content. You let people upload whatever they want, and they will do just that - and occasionally this will include things other people might not be happy to see. Ning (http://ning.com) had problems with this, and I believe Marc Andreessen dealt with it very nicely - read his post at http://blog.pmarca.com/2008/01/porn-n... . I expect Loic and the rest of the staff, who seem to be smart people, will also be as reasonable as that.

DV camera by Firewire not working with Seesmic (or with Flash in general...)WARNING: it appears this problem is not specific to Seesmic, but rather has something to do with Flash Player - I'm posting it here because you guys might be able to do something oin configuring the Flash part of the app, and also because Seesmic is the only place I want to use this feature!
I have a miniDV camera (Panasonic NV-GS27) which I connect to my notebook by Firewire. I can use this camera just fine to record into Windows Media Player or Adobe Premiere. However, I cannot use it to record video in Seesmic - it is listed in the drop-down selection list, but selecting freezes the recording area for a while and then just show black and no record button. I have tested this with Firefox 3 betas 3, 4 and 5, IE 7 and 8 and Flock 1.1. Flash version is 9.0 r115.
In researching this, I have found the following links that might be relevant to developers (they weren't to me.....):

Anyone else with problems like this? I'd love to use my external DV camera with Seesmic, it would be so much better... I have chatted with other Seesmic users about this, and other people seem to use their DV cameras normally. Is this specific to my camera, or to a version of some of the pieces of software on my machine?

Javascript Seesmic widget seems to be broken?I am having problems with the Javascript/HTML version of the widget (flash version is working fine): it just keeps showing the "Uploading...." text and doesn't move from there. You can see this at http://dailyiteration.com . I've tried tinkering with the code, and nothing I did got it to work. I would guess the problem is here:-
