I don't remember how long it took. I think the direct help only took a day or two before someone responded. I know I never got a response thorugh the getsatisfaction site. I used http://twitter.com/help/

How long did it take you to get someone from Twitter support to respond? What's the secret? I've been trying for at least a week.

You can't fix the problem yourself. If you contact Twitter support directly, they can resolve the issue for you. I finally was able to have someone respond, and got my problem fixed.
