reinstate! it was a great way to find new people. Why not let people choose how they want to use twitter instead of forcing them in a particular direction?

Twitter timeline empty!
My entire twitter timeline is empty! I can still receive @replies and DM's but nothing else shows up. This is the case for Web and API access. I have tried turning updates off and on again but no luck. Unfollowing and refollowing other twitter users doesn't seem to kick the timeline into life either. Help!?

Instead of switching to private mode before posting a private location it would be good to have the ability to set certain placemarks as private, so the full details will never be published except for those we trust
