the URL did not specifically shorten (as you can see) and my account setting is set to tr.im for my tr.im account.

the original extra was as follows:

watched The Ten (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0811106/) over the weekend -- a feature from 2007 @SIFFNews -- definitely worth a look...watch for the review upcoming this week

it did go over the 140 limit. the link will work in Twitter post.

is there some other info I can give you to help investigate? if so, please let me know.

well, i had put in a full unshortened URL in and then it shortened it using bit.ly.

i had all of my accounts (there are 4) set to shorten using tr.im and i have my tr.im account details in the preferences.

not sure if that helps. i am using the most current beta as well.

i am using the private Beta, have my tr.im account set-up for URL shortening and this post of mine automatically went to a bit.ly -- which i do not even have set up in the account....

i have the account set to my tr.im account and not tr.im anonymous. is there something else i need to do to get my tr.im account to default for URL shortening?
