Thanks Ray - I hadn't noticed that dropdown when I was editing stories. This is a perfect solution. – finalcut, on October 24, 2008 17:08

I want to Stop working on a storyDue to the nature of our projects we often have been join and then leave a project. Sometimes they can't finish a story they "started" before they have to leave the project. however, nobody else can really "start" on it right then. It would be nice to be able to "stop" a story putting it back in the pool to be claimed with a new "start" button.-

A comment on the idea "Automatic updates?" in SocialThing:
I commented on the one you pointed us to but figured I'd repeat it here :O) - I'd be happy to reverse chronology on the page and have auto updates. then users wouldnt' be auto-scrolled and my updates would appear automatically.. Give the users the choice of usability scenarios and see which one they prefer. – finalcut, on September 26, 2008 13:14

thanks for directing me to this one. I still wish it were an option; let the user decide which usability scenario they prefer. - maybe if they turn the setting on then you reverse chronology on the page so that we have to scroll down to read newer posts. I already have to do that anyway because I get 10+ updates at a time so I have to scroll down and then read upward..-

Hi PhoenixP3K - I could never get the post button to work, but you can post (certainly to twitter) by clicking reply to post and then just removing the @someone bit from the post dialogue box. – Phil, on September 26, 2008 07:49
