Try this:
1) login to my.socialgo.com
2) Click on Access Settings
3) In the sub heading - Allow members of your network to -
uncheck the box : Create a bulletin for their groups, events and network wide
This should stop the bulletin feature from being visible to normal members i.e should not show up under add new for normal members but it will be viable to you only.
ezra is believed is away for a while.

Fir... replied on June 12, 2009 01:03 to the question "quick sign up widget..." in SocialGO:
I agree with Ryan that each question should have and on or off button and indeed we need a quick sign up widget (it would be best if SG provide this asap)
or a quick alternative:
In addition the profile questions should not be included upon sign up rather only the basic question and once all sign up then the option to fill the profile question should be included in the todolist. Dont think this requires must work to bring for now. Hope SG consider this and bring in in the next 2 deploys or so.
A comment on the question "Getting more people to Sign Up NOW" in SocialGO:
Very valid point Shawn same applied for the your topic post. To please all maybe SG could implement what is herein with the option for the network admin to choose to ask or not for the First and Last Name.
Keep in mind in order to actaully get the members to signup (under the current signup structure) first you must sell your splash page well or else the will not click that Sign UP button. SO its more that one reasons and nice to see owners bringing them to light.
To make it more bad if the sign up is long and the welcome page is sold badly then that could immediate turn off the visitor as soon as the click signip ..:) Its trickly how to turn visitors into members ain't it.
But for now until SG consider you idea you can try to sell your welcome page even more better to increase the possibility for turning visitors into members (always room for improvement...not saying that your welcome page is poorly sold) also check the admin centre - profile question - and see if that can render some help in any form.

Fir... replied on June 11, 2009 20:37 to the question "Can I transfer ownership of a network?" in SocialGO:
EG explained what it is but to explain in plain english for you: Sub-admin option should basically mean other network admin beside the main admin. However, I should assume that the sub-admin would have more power than the current moderator rules such as the option to log into the admin center and do admin related task with some limitations. Cheers!
To answer your topic question. No the option to transfer ownership is not currently available. However, the next best alternative would be to transfers ownership by giving the new owner the admin login credentials until.
Hope this helps.-

Fir... shared an idea in SocialGO on June 08, 2009 14:51:
A More Faster Method of Sending RequestI have found on many networks and on my own network that it take some significant time for members to send a request using the current method (ajax) of sending the request. It would be great if we could cut the time in half on this. Possible developed a faster way of sending the request like when members click Add Friend it loads in the background and then send a success request sent notification once it has been delivered. This way the can get to send more request without the pop up ajax which takes some time to load then some time to send the request and close itself when members has dial up connection.
Assume that their is no issue with the bandwidth. Hope Sg consider some faster method of sending request.
Fir... replied on June 08, 2009 11:17 to the question "White label?" in SocialGO:
White Label in indeed no reference to SocialGO both on your network and on the mail forms send out. It allows your member to go way with the perception that you created the software on your own. (No Links or Logo on SG)
You will have to pay a monthly fee for the white label just as you do for your subscription.

1) Go to my.socialgo.com and Login
2) Click on Ad and Custom HTML
3) In the head meta box (the first one) put the below css code between style tags e.g <style> CODE HERE </style>
Here is the codes (adjust the color code if your choose):
div#sidebar {
background-color:#68BBDB;
}
form fieldset, .fieldset {
background-color:#68BBDB;
border-color:#D7D3CC;
}
form label {
color:#FFFFFF;
}
.sidebar-box {
background-color:#68BBDB;
}
a:link, a:visited, a:hover, a:active {
color:#000000;
}
Again hope this work out for you.
PS white front might now look too well with the current bg color you want.

Fir... replied on May 29, 2009 13:50 to the question "Web crawler or bot" in SocialGO:
The best results is to get your site craw by Google
1) Build up your SEO - set up and monitor your keywords & meta data that actually works for you site....drop keywords that don't work. (use some google tools to do so like Google Keywords, Webmaster, Analytics and also try http://websitegrader.com to get a good overview of it all while you built your website grade to top: website grader grades everything about your site so that you get a better picture of where you stand in a non technical manner)
Once you discover the keywords and meta data that works then enter them into you Ad and Custom HTML Head Meta Box. Dont know how to code the meta data and keywords? Search for free tools that help you generate and code them)
2) Get more inbound links to your site. This will split off to more traffic to you site. An alternatively more pages being index by Google. (Free top listings)
(a dummies tip: use Twitter and tweet about contents on your site while including you link e.g just wrote a blog. tweet about it. The most important part is how you tweet. I recommend you tweet in question from where applicable e.g. just wrote blog title "lose 10 lbs in 3 days" Tweet like this "Do you need to lose 10 lbs in 3 days? Who would not! http://networkname.com" (try to tweet a lot as well plus automate your tweet to send auto direct messages to new followers for more free traffic. You may do so here: http://tweetlater.com
3) An the basic - Keep you members happy - provide good content (blogs or whatever your target traffic is interested in - use it to your advantage) so that you get more pageviews/hits)
4) So much more that worked for me. ahhhh
Hope this helps.
