A comment on the problem "Gmail Showing No Progress for indexing my Premium Account" in OtherInbox:
UPDATE: It did it again - my OIB account settings shows the wrong Gmail username. At this point, I think maybe a refund may be best. This is becoming more of a liability than a useful tool. – FireFish, on November 28, 2009 07:58
A comment on the problem "Gmail Showing No Progress for indexing my Premium Account" in OtherInbox:
Joshua;
Thanks for your reply. I have over 10,000 items just in my Gmail inbox alone. Indexing finished a little while ago, but oddly now I see that the Otherinbox settings have my wrong Gmail username (it was correct before; now it is set to the same value as my Otherinbox username, which is not my Gmail username). I fixed this odd configuration change, which again I'm positive was set correctly a few hours ago.
I also have to say that I'm a bit disappointed that most of the features that attracted me to your service, such as the Receipts section, Coupons section, and others, are not yet available. Its a little misleading that your user interface shows these items in the toolbar, but when they're clicked, a nifty lightbulb tells me to expect it in the future. Its difficult to justify this paid service without those key elements. – FireFish, on November 28, 2009 07:27

Gmail Showing No Progress for indexing my Premium AccountI tried upgrading to the premium, which seems to have gone through. However, the reason I did it was for OtherInbox to work for my Gmail. Its been stuck at 0% progress for reading my Gmail account for HOURS. Its not going anywhere. I verified that my Gmail account credentials were accurate + IMAP is enabled.
I'm beginning to think about asking for a refund, unless this starts magically working within the next hour or two.-

Kudos for the developer of addNetflixThis is what I'm talking about! This is using your head to make 1 and 1 better than two.
Good job on this mod. I know I'll certainly use it.
No matter how cool these Netflix apps show a GUI, I need to quickly type like this app allows and be done with it.
Mad kudos! Keep up the great work!-

If it was for the creators to be more active with updates & enhancements, then I see it as worth it. I also got it because I got into Tweetie for Mac OS X.Although I haven't seen much that other free Twitter driven apps don't have, I'd say that Tweetie is certainly useful. Again, I'm not sure why I paid the $4.99 when my wife has an identical app for free.

FireFish marked one of MikeGrace's replies in atebits as useful. MikeGrace replied to the problem "Only 100 requests an hour? What's up with that?!?!". FireFish and 3 other people think it's one of the best replies.

Only 100 requests an hour? What's up with that?!?!I kind of have a problem with the fact that I paid for this software (Tweetie, both for Mac & iPhone) and on my Mac, I'm getting an error that I can't use more than 100 requests per hour. By requests, I see it means inquiries (double-clicking a friend to see their tweets).
This seems like a limitation one would put in a trial or demo version, but why would my registered software do this?
