Hi Nick,
Thanks for getting back to me. I think an example is called for:
Suppose I have two Royal Mail methods active.
Normal shipping would cost aroung 50p for a DVD but it would be about £5 extra for Special Delivery. Without the free shipping customers would usually choose the cheaper method.
With free shipping turned on, weights are being deducted from the total consignment weight for all the active methods in the module instead of just for the cheapest method. This means if someone selects Special Delivery for a single DVD they still get it free and I am out of pocket by £5.
In contrast I gather that using the UPS module they would only get UPS Ground method free and all the rest would be chargeable

Royal Mail and Free ShippingI am using free shipping for certain products (DVDs) but all of my Royal Mail methods are showing as free for those products rather than just the cheapest.
What is the solution?
