Searching for text with unicode characters comes up empty

Since a month or so I am unable to use the search feature for keywords that contain unicode characters; they return an empty result set.
An example that should (and used to) come up with results is: Bodø
It doesn't work via the website nor via twitter clients.

FiXato marked one of Wouter's replies in Wakoopa as useful. Wouter replied to the question "Should binary builds be marked as duplicate of the original?".

The "What's going on now" problem is fixed;
however on firefox 3 I am still only seeing 1 'Most used apps' entry, as shown in the second screenshot above.
It only occurs in ff3 (3.0.5 to be precise) under linux though; under windows it shows as it should...

Also, there is 'activity', as the lines do move down; there just isn't any content added to the lines.

On the Linux beta site when going to the Software page (http://linux-test.wakoopa.com/software) the entries for "What's going on right now" remain blank.
Only occasionally does a new entry appear in it.

This is in Epiphany for linux.

In Firefox 3 for Linux the amount of 'Most used apps' on the same page is limited even to the top used program; in this case Last.fm.

As you can see the url of the user's page points to wakoopa.com instead of to the Linux beta test server.

Should binary builds be marked as duplicate of the original?

Should binary builds be marked as duplicates? Such as 'thunderbird-bin' being a duplicate of 'thunderbird'?

If so, it would be nice to have the 'Mark as duplicate' also directly available from the application because, instead of having to 'edit' it first.

When using the search function on the Wakoopa Linux beta site, I've been getting "Our search-engine could not be reached. Please try again" for the past 1 or 2 hours.
