I am having the same problem since I upgraded to Firefox 3.5 (also the beta versions in the past weeks). Geode is not compatible with FF 3.5 (even though the browser itself should be able to find a location) while my Loki locates me perfectly from its website.

Latitude's API are not yet available AFAIK, anyway update location via ping is not that easy: see Brightkite for instance. Latitude's idea is to push the location with a mobile phone with GPS or triangulation, not to receive it from other services. I think we'll have some application linking it to Brightkite sometime soon though. – Flavio, on February 12, 2009 12:29

Status on Google Latitude is nothing else that the dear old status on Google Talk, so if it's possible to access that Latitude is updated too.

Having the chance to select a day/time in the future for a plaze, what about sending the RSS at that time instead of doing it immediately? Useful especially for the push on twitter and the use of the feed in lifestreaming sites.
