I think the Wii is the most fun, cheapest, and gives you the greatest amount of home-entertainment flexibility. You aren't paying for something you don't need: DVD player, Bluray player, home-entertainment center, etc. You just get a killer party machine.

That said, I do own an Xbox 360, and I enjoy Halo. I also use it to watch DVDs. It works pretty well for all that.

I haven't read much about good games for PS3, though it's specs are pretty incredible. I still have problems with Sony's ethical reputation, so I avoid buying from them if possible.

I do not find it worth it. I have a set of Energizer 15 minute quick-charge batteries:

(you can find them cheaper at Walmart)

If you run out of power just pop them in the charger, go for a coffee come back in 15 minutes and you can keep on playing. Virtually no downtime... Faster than the 6- 24 hour dock charger :)

it comes out 25th april in the u.k nd it is gonna cost between £35 and £70
