Thank you very much for your feedback. There is a feature called "Export" to create new tables based on a source database. However, dbCOPY 4 does not support the alteration of tables - Our goal was to focus on our core competencies and improve the transfer of data. We plan to implement basic alteration features in the future.

You might be interested to hear that we’ve implemented a Paradox database module into dbCOPY 4. Have a look at our tutorial how to transfer data from Paradox to mySQL. For sure, you can copy data also to any other supported database.

Hello!
Thank you for your feedback! Please send me an email to f.heinemann@dbcopy.com so that we can find an individual solution.
With dbCOPY 4 we shifted our focus to people who have to copy data regularly. We also added many features which were often requested. While working on modules for smaller databases, we'll try to find a solution for the meantime.
Best regards,
Florian
Florian Heinemann replied on May 27, 2009 21:27 to the question "Append Not Overwrite Syntax" in dbCOPY:
Hello Tara,
You can use the dbCOPY mode 'Append', which appends only records that do not exist in the target database. To ensure that only new records are transfered, dbCOPY checks all available primary keys.
In case that you do not have any primary keys in your table you can define virtual primaries by clicking on the blue icon next to the target column in the Field Mapping window.
Best Regards
