notesI wanted to add a few comments and format the content of the caption but it doesn't seem like I'm able to add this in some way - see for example http://www.expono.com/jemostrom/photo...
I wanted to add some line breaks and a link that explained the whole thing. Is there some way to do this (I couldn't find anything using the help)

Hmmm, I just did a test upload of this photo http://www.expono.com/jemostrom/photo... and here it happens on the 'ä' (see screendump). I've used Aperture to enter the text and generate the jpg. I'm using Snow Leopard (did a clean install since my first message on this subject) with the latest updates

Well, the problem is the same but I seem to remember that I've seen a similar problem at another place. UTF-8 in IPTC seem to be a problem. – fnatte, on November 03, 2009 06:00

Hmmm, that's bad I can't find the original picture ... I seem to have deleted it. Don't know how that happened. Anyway, it was probably embedded in the image (all other photos from that set have that title in Aperture). I don't remember how it was uploaded but I'm 99.9% sure that it was using the flash uploader.
I'm using OS X 10.6.1, Safari 4.0.3 (6531.9). If I use FF v3.5.4 then it looks OK. So apparently there is some interaction with Safari. – fnatte, on October 22, 2009 08:35

Strange rendering of non-ascii chars. It looks like Expono displays non-ascii chars in a strange way. Look at this image http://www.expono.com/jemostrom/photo... notice how "Åsele" in the title is displayed. Here is how it looks like on my computer

Some other way of editing/organizingOne thing that bothers me about Expono is that I find the tools a bit confusing. To me it's confusing trying to find the tool to do something. I don't know if it's possible but I would like to see a common tool bar that is the same everywhere or perhaps two modes, one "display mode" which is geared towards the presentation and one "edit/organizing mode" where it's easy to manipulate albums/images.

fnatte reported a problem in Connected Flow on October 12, 2009 07:41:
Non-ascii keywords doesn't work in DarkslideKeywords problem : it looks like if a keyword contains the letters å,ä,ö then no photos are listed when I tap on them. For example: if I in Darkslide tap on the tag "åsa" then no photos are listed. If I try the same in Flickrs app then the correct photos are listed.
(also, but I guess this is a Flickr issue, a word that starts with 'å' is listed under 'a' instead of under 'å')
