Problem displaying sent email from apple mail
I use gmail for my email and just received an email sent from Apple Mail that displays very strangely in Postbox. In the message list it displays the from and subject and everything correctly. But when I open the message it has no subject or sender and the body shows a bit of html with no message.

On gmail and my phone it displays properly with 2 attachments. Any ideas what would cause this? I'm running Postbox version 1.0b4 (2009012419) and other messages from this sender come through fine.

    Invalid Credentials error repeating
I have Postbox setup with a gmail account which works great. However if I change my password while Postbox is open, I get an error message stating "Invalid Credentials (Failure)". I click OK and it instantly comes back another 10 times.

So I close postbox and re-open it. Same error comes up once, I click OK and receive a "Login to server imap.gmail.com failed" error. I click OK on that, and finally get a prompt for the new password, which works fine from there.

Ideally, one message would come up telling you the username/password is invalid, then the login box would appear without 20 error messages in between.

    Close attachment preview with CMD+W
When a message has images attached, they show in the sidebar. Clicking on those images brings up a preview, but the only way to close that preview window is with the red dot. I'd like to be able to close that preview window with CMD+W.

Almost every window I've come across on my Mac can be closed with the CMD+W shortcut, so I've mapped it to a button on my mouse. I know it doesn't seem like much, but if 'm going through many attachments, it starts to get annoying having to hunt for the dot.

    Keep up the good work!

I wish the badge would disappear instead of displaying "0". The point of an indicator is to get your attention when there are new messages, so always seeing the badge is distracting.

    Mac address book integration
I would love to see Postbox's address book integrate with the Mac address book.

A lot of apps on the mac seem to integrate with the address book. As I try out different email solutions, I'm using a few ways of syncing contacts including MobileMe, Gmail, and Plaxo. My main reason for syncing is to keep my contacts up to date on all my machines and devices.

Maybe there's something in the recent beta of Thunderbird 3.0 that can help with this (http://www.mozillamessaging.com/en-US...). Otherwise, I know there's a plaxo plugin for Thunderbird that syncs contacts.

I don't think many people will want to maintain multiple address books, so this one little thing could be a deal breaker.

Finally the attachments get some love
First, thanks for choosing me for the private beta. Postbox has some interesting ways of finding information that are lacking in other email apps. Plus little things like being able to push todo items to the top of the inbox, and having facebook status show for contacts are nice touches.

I live in a browser with 20 tabs open most of the time, so I'm glad to see tabs have come to email at last. I really like the idea of not having to sift through emails to find one attachment from a month ago, and the searches produce near-instant results.

The compose window looks a million times better than the Thunderbird its based on. Having an intelligent sidebar with recent pictures, attachments, a dictionary, and even embedding links to google maps could really save time. I hope to see more widgets show up in the sidebar, maybe from plugins.

    Keep up the good work.

    Layout options
I can understand why you wouldn't want to use too much memory, but the pagination in contacts and images is a bit of a turn off. I don't think I'll ever go near the contacts tab the way it is now. I think the main reason being you scroll a bit, then click next, then scroll a bit, then click next. Having to hunt for the next button each time breaks the flow, whereas most people are used to scrolling until they find what they are looking for.

Maybe allow the user to choose a layout where they can scroll or at least see more items on a page. Also, I'd like to see the contacts tab condensed the way the attachment tab is, or only 2 lines high per row, and in 2 columns.

I really prefer to have everything available offline instantly so I would love to see Postbox grow instead of me having to resort to giving a 3rd party full access to my email like with http://www.xoopit.com/.

Sweet, I keep hoping flow gets more stable because the UI is awesome.

Cannot drag bookmark with a slash in the name
I've noticed if I have a forward slash "/" in the name of a bookmark I cannot drag that bookmark into a folder. As soon as I rename it to remove the slash I can drag it. There doesn't seem to be a problem with backslashes "\". Not urgent, and easy enough to get around, just wanted to mention it. I'm using Flow 1.0.3.1 (580).

I love flow's interface and droplets, which made me buy it, but I have had issues with files disappearing from my website when using Flow. For this reason I can't trust the program with any websites I work on. I don't have the transcript as I don't notice until I've already closed Flow, but I'll try and capture it next time.

    Remote files empty after saving
This has only happened to me with one file, that I know of. I edited an html file on a remote ftp host inside Flow to change one line. I saved the file, went to the website and it was great.

A couple weeks later, we've noticed the page is missing. I uploaded a backup inside flow, then edited one line using the Flow editor. The website is updated and it looks good. I go back to the website a minute later and the page is blank again. In Flow the file is now 0 bytes. This only happens with Flow, so it can't be the server, and I am the only one who should have access to the FTP server.

I really want to use flow because I love the UI but its so unstable. I was putting up with the crashes, but now I can't even rely on it to edit files. :(

I'm using the latest stable release, 1.0.3.1 (580)
