It's now known as "Deep Zoom" I believe, it's part of Silverlight 2.0 and probably other things.

More likely to be on the 360 since it's also made by Microsoft.

The Xbox team probably have their hands full with the upcoming dashboard update, so unless photosynth's viewer is done in XNA...
